Thank you. For the nearly pitch black shot at 0:23 I was at f/1.2 | 24fps | I think ISO was about 1600 | shutter 1/50. Everything else was 60fps (slowed to 24 in timeline) and pretty much was in the ISO range of 800 - 1600 (no higher) and shutter was about 1/120 (119.9 using the anti-flicker setting). Shot in HDR PQ / 4K All-I

Now i now why when i am recording my vlogs with the external monitor the focus always jumps to the gear im showing and never stays on my face.. a6500 is so problematic when it comes to filming yourself..

the micro jitters are a real problem, you have to stabilize all the planes even at 35mm with their corresponding cut and loss in quality. I've tried it on lumix gh6

If your camera isn't resting on your shoulder in a balanced rig, don't shoot video handheld. Just don't do it. Don't even bother.

Olá, boa tarde e feliz natal! Gostaria muito de saber se ao fazer live stream, a sony a6500 perde o face tracking? Minha dúvida é que você mencionou no vídeo que para perder o face tracking a sony a6500 precisa estar (i) usando a saída hdmi e (ii) gravando. Só que numa live stream se a sony a6500 estiver APENAS transmitindo por meio do a saída hdmi dela e NÃO estiver gravando, mesmo assim ela perderá o face tracking? Essa é minha dúvida! Desde já agradeço a atenção!

Looks pretty good. But autofocus and OIS does destroy the filmic look. Every now and then i see the AF "hunting". And the OIS will bring some kind of morphing effect in the motions of the handheld movements.

Please also remember when saying that it is the equivalent field of view of a 70-200mm "full-frame" lens that f/2.8 on a m43 body is the 'equivalent' of f/5.6 on a 35mm sensor camera...

When it comes to exposure and light gathering f/2.8 is still f/2.8 on m43. When it comes to DOF then you’re correct, it is the equivalent of f/5.6.

@@genxtechguy So true... I love my m43 lenses for that reason... I would love for you to do a video discussing the value of the m43 sensor using lower ISO values at their true "equivalence" to that of full-frame cameras... I regularly use ISO 800 in low light situations where on my Nikon full-frame camera it would require ISO 6400 using a lens of the "equivalent" field of view AND using the same aperture and shutter speed settings... Where I think people maybe confused is when they compare ISO values higher than 6400 on m43 to the same ISO values on larger sensors... Using the awesome IBIS on my Panasonic G9 - I regularly get at least a 2 stop REAL advantage...
