Sir kal hum jaa rahe h Gulmarg, praying for Snow fall... But Mera ek naive to stupid question tha ki, jo snow already padi hoti h waha har jagah wo to snowfall se hota hoga na? So, snowfall kya raat ko hota hai? Ya wo last year ka pada hota hai which I doubt? So, agar raat ko hoti hai to waha (Gulmarg) raat ko stay karenge waha to milega kya snowfall dekhne ko abhi?

Taxi per day - 4000 Hotel range between 1500 -3000 (depends on what category hotel you choose) Food per day for 2 person - 800 Total for 7 days will come around ~ 55000 for 2 person (on top this few thousand extra for shopping and other expenses, Flight or Train ticket price not included in this) Note: Houseboat is costly if you book private Houseboat - 9000 to 13000 for a day, I considered sharing Houseboat in above calculation. Flight Ticket price depends on how early you are booking. Generally flight to Kochi is cheaper that flight to Trivandrum.

You may find good snow in 1st half of April in Gulmarg 2nd phase and sonmarg,but note that with each passing day in April, the snow melts .
