My dad bought me a legit Pokemon Yellow cartridge for my 7th birthday. An ex's daughter stole it from me many years ago. My dad ended up finding another copy & gave it to me a few weeks ago (I'm now 31). I immediately noticed the front top that just said, "GAME", so had wondered...the label and cartridge all looked brand-new. He claimed he bought it many years ago & had it in storage and kept forgetting to give it to me. It plays and saves fine. The only reason how I noticed it was when I was in Cerulean City at a Pokemon Center, trying to swap out Pokemon in the "Somebody's PC". The names were garbled with symbols or they'd completely disappear! I'm unsure if this can be fixed or whether the glitch will forever stay. There were a few times where I tried to deposit/withdraw Pokemon & the screen would then go completely white. I couldn't exit or save, so I'd have to turn off & turn my Gameboy back on. That being said, I'll basically have to be cool with my current roster of Pokemon I carry with me or deposit the ones I'm okay "parting with. I'll keep playing as long as I can and/or until/unless it completely glitches and stops turning on. I'd love to get my hands on a real copy someday -- seeing this video will help me not accidentally buy a fake.

@BestNerdLife The best $10 you can spend on your Quest 2 is for the Quest Games Optimizer. It enables you to boost CPU, GPU, Resolution and turn off foveated rendering among other things. All the Quest models run pretty conservatively to guarantee performance, and most games are optimized conservatively for the same reason. However, there is tonnes of overhead to play with. You can get some games looking twice as good. I have replayed some of my older games just to see them in their full glory. Once installed, it looks like your app launcher with a few extras. There are profiles for pretty much every game, so you can launch straight into an optimized game without any hassle, or you can tweak the settings until your heart is content and save your own profile. There is an optional performance overlay, so you can see which options you can boost or cut. There are a few steps for the first install, but after that, all updates are just as easy as installing a new Quest game.

Tgis is a great batocera machine. I used to use it for that but then i swapped the motherboard for a optiplex 980 with a haswell i7. But that motherboard was great except i sidnt have a slot for gpu in mine. The spot was on the board but not populated. I was thinking about getting it pcie slot and installing it and all the other capacitors but im using the case and power supply so id have nowhere to put it. Mine is the larger tower version. If you still have it but a large hdd and run batocera linux and its an awesome game console!

Dunno about all these other KZbinrs but I put it down to a mixture of patience and sheer dumb luck. And they were priced between £4 and £6 if I remember correctly. It's true that plenty of charity shops are pricing them more like CEX now though.
