my guess is if megatron does have some kind of corrupting power it's in reference to how he could control anti-matter or i think it was dark matter from the marvel comics. that or i think a more likely thing is that Starscream was just easily influenced by words Optimus however has been at war for a millenia and we see that the skybound universe is not as carefree as G1, so we have far more heavier losses and consequences for the great war which i think are taking a toll on optimus's psyche, him having Megatron's arm is his mind possibly trying to cope with his actions, because only Megatron would go so far as to kill the way prime did and the thought Prime is becoming like Megatron is scaring him

There indeed are a ton of deaths in this series, some were not nessasery while the rest were. like Shockwaves death, that death was nessasery. But Ratchets wasnt really nessasery.

P.S Im showing my mom this series and shes a few issues in and she was shocked at the amount of deaths there were so far. Bumblebee is her favorite character and she was shocked to see him just die she said "thats it?", and i said "yep" and she said "damn, Bee didnt even have a chance!" And i said "i think your really going to like Cliffjumper" she also really hates this starscream, and i told her "trust me mom, Shockwave is far worse than Stascream in this series." and whats funny is that she always thought Starscream was a girl cause of the heels and cause of how mean he is and his annoying voice lol!

Elita-1 is a soldier that has been totally broken, mentally, emotionally and physically, by the conflict she's been forced to fight. Nothing else matters then defeating the Decepticons and reclaiming Cybertron, too the point that she's willing to destroy an entire innocent planet to do it. It's gonna be awesome to see how her story goes in upcoming installments of the Skybound series.
