I've just been watching Kate Humble's programme tonight, a out the North Wales coast. This must be a repeat, because the pier was still going. I appreciate that old stru tires are sometimes no longer safe. But, does anybody know if there's going to be a new pier? I do hope so. Originally, this pier looked so splendid

They have assured me they will, be a new pier, they have all ready built what is called a Stump, an anchor for the new pier, and they placed many things in storage, well that remains to be seen, as what I saw and filmed all got thrown into skips, look me new video called The Stump

Brings back hell of a lot of fantastic memories. We top end near city rd and my grandparents lived near H&L My old playground as kid, playing in woods making a swing under bridge. School holidays they would have activities on for us kids. They where always putting major events on like military shows car shows, circus and in winter it so much fun. I even tuck my son there ta play and go sledging. Brilliant memories I'm 62 now an thank you for the vid 👍

Thank you for your comment like I say, only time will tell if all the changes that has happened, is it going to work for the better, yes was great in the 80s and 90s knew lots of friends, our maisonette is grass now, the whole estate Algar Drive now grassland, hole you like my contents I do try and film areas that have massively changed or changed fir the worst like cemeteries thanks anyways

Filming in public areas is not illegal. Private areas I'm not sure about unless I google it. Nice finds though. At the end of the day if something is thrown away in a bin. It's best to take it and recycle it like your doing.

*wonder if in about ten years time, will there be any vintage, I mean original historically buildings left, sadly I think not* Well isn't that the whole point of listed building status, (1,000 for Sheffield) so they are spared and preserved for future generations and give he councils of the future something to work with when there's a desire to return to architectural styles of the past, you know the ones that actually worked and have stood the test of time. Actually the desire is already with us which is why large swathes of the post war buildings are already rubble. These will follow suit. It's developers having councilors who green light these projects in their pockets that's the problem

Sadly even the listed buildings, are not exempted,all they do now is demolish the insides, so the outside of the building is saved, or they now move brick by brick. But most of the City centre is all new, 85% is not older than 25 years. It's the new London of the north

Sadly no in the UK it is down to the local council authorities that are in charge, they employ groundsman that cut the grass, but they tell me they not allowed to touch the graves.

Amazing I was just looking into this graveyard last week and it's unusual Chapel so it's an real treat to see the Chappel from above like this and the fine detail I can not see from below. Great video m8👍

Thank you m8 yes but I am sure somebody can make use of the deserted Chapels. but sadly my videos are covering the sad fact Sheffield Council gives no respect to these graveyards. SAD TIMES

What a beautiful double Chappel with both its spires in tact its great to see the detail from above as i can pick out so many features than can not be seen from road level. Its so nice to see this one still so complete.👍

Brilliant video I do a lot of exploring of grave yards and cemetery chappels and it just so happens I have been investigating this place for the last month or more but I live 100 mile away so I can not get to see it in person however your video has shown me the true size of the place and more importantly for me you show great detail of the Chappel from above...👍👍 its been a great little bit of research to help me with my ongoing investigations of these places.

Yes I did enquire and they will not open them up again as they too expensive to heat and maintain, surely somebody should look into it and try and restore or make use of these fantastic buildings left to rot just like the graves stones left as rubble disgraceful

I don't believe that Conwy County Borough Council have any intention of restoring the pier. Even if they do, they will do it in a way that ensures it is no competition for Llandudno's pier. They have repeatedly shown little more than a thinly-veiled contempt for the bay of Colwyn and the history of the area.

Well only time will tell, but what gets me they saying they salvaged a lot of stuff from old pie and will use in the new one. DON’T believe they salvaged a lot, a tiny bit because I filmed with my drone, then smashing things up not salvaging, they even burnt what was left in the end

Only time will tell if they get it just right, as the residents near Splash Point are not happy with the result of their sea defence, that the council made. when will the council help the town centre though, well lets hope so.

Most of my ancestors are buried at that old graveyard .Made a short film about it but need to get off my butt and do another one .Can remember the chapel as it was before some bugger set fire to it.Same again can remember going inside it and looking at all the old records but no camera.What a bloody shame.Your drone footage is cracking mate kind regards Steve@@MrBumpkin001

Yes it is A DJI Phantom 4, in my mind best ever made, I and getting used to flying very slowly and turning very slowly. glad you like it.

@@john00730 I think if you had watched videos on You tube how to set settings, in my mind the phantom best out there, for being stable, steady, and easiest to control. try again and be surprised well worth think it over

OH MY ! so sorry did not notice the focus, was offline, that's the main issues I have with this DJI Inspire 1, sometimes I cannot get the focus correct, please check a quick flight with my Mavric Air, I found it very hard to control it smoothly. might film this again.

Hope you get drone fixed, sadly I cannot do magnet fishing because wife has a pacemaker with rare heart conditions. So yeh keep up the good vids on magnet fishing loving it.

Very LUCKY I was it only effected my Camera Gimbal, which resetted once I restarted my drone. hence very very quick clip.
