As an American movie buff who knew next to nothing about Robbie Williams until hearing about this movie from critics at film festival screenings, I must say I find him utterly charming. My next step was to watch the 4-part docu-series on Netflix about him & wow, I was hooked. KZbin is a treasure trove of his performances, videos & interviews over the past 30+ years. We in the U.S. have been cheated of this man's talents for far too long. I cannot wait to experience this remarkable film! Hopefully, it will open the eyes of many pop/rock music lovers in North America.

Love Robbie Williams & his music! There is a great Trailer for Better Man on KZbin. Interesting concept for sure but I'll definitely go to see it. Robbie's documentary on Netflix is fantastic. He seems to spill it all...the good and the bad. Lovely to see Robbie at home with his beautiful wife, Ayda, and their children.

The hype here is too big, that "Gladiator II" could actually be good. The critics are very bad. They just copied the original "Gladiator". They made a bad copy. The Gladiator is mainly fighting against CGI animals. The score is not really good. A lot of scenes are better in "Gladiator I". Denzel Washington has the best part. A movie that was not necessary. Harder and harder to find good films today.

Nice meet except that Gladiator II is frankly a deception. Special effects do not undo the lack of scenario and bad acting.

Gladiator II went on general release here in Indonesia on Wednesday 13th November and I have seen it. Three o'clock showing at the Icon Bali in Sanur. I cannot recommend this movie highly enough. Not just an outstanding sequel to an outstanding original, but there are clear parallels in this movie to certain current real-life events. Denzel Washington has a ball as the scheming Macrinus. I won't spoil the movie for anyone any more than that, but I would recommend that before seeing the movie familiarize yourself with the real life emperors Geta and Caracalla and the appalling effect their reign had on Rome. I did. Wikipedia or a KZbin documentary should suffice. Gladiator II deserves to sweep the Oscars. Ten out of ten. Ideally it should have gone on general worldwide release a little before November 5th. 😉

Great that the producers highlight Paul in particular because despite his humility he is shouldering the whole weight of this movie as the lead actor with grace and very effectively, even with better known and talented actors like Denzel, Pedro and Connie.
