It's infuriating that the stupidest shows get like 10 seasons and this masterpiece only gets one. Ppl are fucking stupid which is why the didn't watch this show because they'd rather see reality tv garbage.

Loved this scene. The captain was a great captain but was awkward on the land.

The way the flower gently buries the creature is honestly kinda bittersweet like it’s mourning

All these little humanoids, so many so integrated into other, almost machine like organisms, it almost feels like the evolution of this planet isn't exactly natural.

I think Ursula just happened to find a "user interface." But she was not the right user. So the creature "terminated the session." I don't remember the show to every detail, but I wonder if some of the later events were directly caused by that creature seeing Ursula and sending some signals because of that.

This was so purposeless in the series. Ursula seems to be profoundly moved by it for about half an episode then goes back to her regular self. This series is a case study of style over substance that seems to dazzle young people.

Gotta wonder if, for that little critter, it felt like she'd been there watching it for years. Would something with such a short lifespan experience those brief moments the way we experience decades? It's also kind of sad; the little guy was "born" knowing exactly what its life's purpose was, and died once that purpose had been fulfilled.

This is definitely something a plant would do. Manipulating a creature to get polluted.

This feels like the visual equivalent of short stories, or poems, you might expect to be written by hormonal teenagers using as many deep words as possible.

2:32 When Ursula was breathing with the little guy it reminded me of the scene where Terrence was breathing with Kris before he gets killed. Don’t know if that was intentional but still amazing

to think there are billions of equally weird biological processes, nutrient/protein exchanges, fertilizations, ... all happening ... in your body ... right now
Just got announced that Netflix will not make a second season after getting the rights from Max. While I'm deeply disappointed and this adds another casualty to the long list of very promising animated shows getting canceled before their prime, I can't help but be greatful that Scavenger's Reign got made at all. This scene alone makes this entire thing worth the effort. I have confidence that this show will get the recognition that it deserves, I'm just sorry that it will probably be quite some time. I hope the showrunners and animators get more work because they are incredibly talented.

I love the reoccurring gesture of people syncing their breathing with people dying in front of them to help them pass away easier, and as like, a universal sign of "I see your pain, and I'll stay with you."

This reminds me of a plant I read about in school. The only bug species that can pollinate it is a white moth, and the moth only eats that one plant. So if one dies the other goes too.

Oi... I became super emotional. It's great that they portrayed her change in perspective to that of her partner's. She changed in just a few moments, emerged a different person from the brush... The experience "took her higher."
@resultofboredomowo9503 ай бұрын
I thing I only just realized is, the process only begins once she TOUCHES the 'plant', could it be this pollination process needs to be witnessed to occur? Could be coincidental, but the creature looking back at her and making that connection, could be an essential part of the process! Who knows! REGARDLESS, what a scene!!
