Man. That scene at the beginning of this video is actually the earliest scene I remember seeing on TV. That first time I saw these driverless construction vehicles driving around on screen causing havoc, and then transforming into these giant robots in front of a bunch of construction workers, was burned straight into my still-forming brain. And then those giant robots went on to become an even bigger robot...blew my freakin' mind.

It looks beautiful - better than it looked in the photos. I'm a little worried about the articulation, though, and yeah...I'm not going to be transforming this back and forth. So now the question is, will I need a THIRD MP scale Ultra Magnus in my collection to complement the HasTak and XTB ones? The answer is probably yes 😂

Transformation is stupendous

I knew the back half of the top rack folded into the legs! ...but I did not know that the arms were fully prosthetic, and not armor for the white robot's arms. In that case, why not just use MP-22's method? Would the armored arms have been too long then? Otherwise, I think it's needlessly complicated and wasteful. There's a lot of empty space inside the back of the cab and the truck bed that could have been used to store, I don't know, half of each thigh, then all of the torso mechanisms could have been simplified - maybe even could have been the same as MP-10.

Looks great but nevertheless XTB wins the Magnus Wars. I hate how hollow the trailer is in Truck mode. Please make the transformation simpler for your Optimus Prime.

Deconstructing the trailer into so many separate bits feels as redundant and extra as splitting The Hobbit into 3 films. "This time, on 'Adventures in Unnecessary Partsforming'..." I don't ever think of Magnus as a smiley face guy. I always think of him as just a "Damn it, I don't have time for this right now!" guy-- _especially after this 43-min video._ Box art shows the truck with dual headlamps, but the actual toy has quads. Woops.

Even their official demo guy struggles with it. That's kinda funny. The engineering is a bit insane, but thos kinda thing, an Ultra Magnus with an Albino Prime that wears armor, is what I prefer. Okay, why is that one armature for the back leg panel on a ratchet? Nooo! Faux parts! How could you?! I was enjoying it so much!

WTF? They made that Transformation way overly complicated. I had high hopes for this one. Looks like I will be sticking with the XTB version. I already have one I don't touch as the Transformation is a nightmare. No need for a second one. I really hope someone, anyone does this guy correctly.

I'll be keeping my Takara in alt mode, but this figure looks great!

Aside from the Beautiful Coloring, i don't see why i should buy this over XTB's. Never was a fan of the Armor Gimmick and it seems like XTB made the way better Magnus. Sorry FansToys but XTB wins this one🤷

I love complicated transformations but this was unnecessarily complicated. The man turns into a rectangle box!

The trailer arms being stored in the legs and then combining with the arms is a crazy design choice. Never seen that before. While I prefer Ultra Magnus that doesn’t have the white Optimus Prime because the Ultra Magnus mode tends to suffer, I think this is one of the best iterations so far. The only fiddle looking part is the white parts jetting out the back

Don't know if it only oncurs to me that the principle of design is practically the same as the MS mini magnus with little 'fanstoys'" moderations. Tell me I'm wrong, hate to bother to finish the video.

Gotta luv the creaking sound of the fanstoys plastic. My guess for the price of this thing is gonna be around $300 USD. Other than that, this thing is fantastic!

Only the most crazy hardcore fan will buy this. The ultra complexity shown in this video gives me a headache. Plus the constant stoppage to show directions makes one violently furious.

What is the official release date? Because I ordered this thing and my package got sent back to the shipper during shipping before it was sent to me all the way.
