youtube.com/@duxhotwater4117 Thanks mate was just about to buy a valve and replace it, Rang dux, and they say its over 5 years and won't fix anything. It sounds like a flaw with the unit, at least replace the faulty part and issue a recall, so dangerous literally flames half way up the unit. I will be getting another unit, ill make sure its not a DUX and tell everyone i know to watch out. Keep up the good information.

Cheers for the knowledge mate! I turn the water on in my shower after the water's been turned off and on by a plumber for maintenance and that first blast of water coming through is like a gunshot, the shower head even kicks back a bit!! Wonder how much pressure's coming in??

Great vid explanations - I had a PRV installed yesterday - AVG Pressure Reduction Valve Boundary 20mm 500KPA Right Angle Copper x Female. I found the taps were all fine afterwards but the kitchen mixer sink pressure sputtered and then had really low pressure. I took out the aerator and found a lot of deposits, tap was only installed less than a month ago. On the side of the prv box it notes “flush all pipework before installing”. The plumber who installed didn’t flush the pipes before or after. I spoke to a plumber I get for bigger projects and he said this should have been done also. What are your thoughts around this one? I didn’t see any note of flushing pipes in this video?

Why does my solar Geyser make this loud noise when I open my yap or flush the toilet. I thought it must be the pressure but even when I open the tap slowly, the noise is loud almost sounds like faulty car engine. Can it be residue build up causing the impellers to cease rotation function or trapped air?
@DanielDobbie7 ай бұрын
Hey mate how long roughly is the pipe that you coiled?

My mop is stuck,, I can't get it out
@BeautifulPlumbing7 ай бұрын
Hi Kenneth, sorry to hear about that. We hope you have managed to get it out? It is very important to make sure you add the extra screws onto the mop head as explained in the video to prevent this from happening in the future.

I found I have the same water heater. Recently I found the hot water is not as hot as before. I have to use hot water only to take shower. And the water flow seems to be slow as well. Any idea? I thought it maybe the water filter was blocked but I couldn’t find it in my heater. 😅

Amazing - how do you deal with extendable drawers fixed pipe
@canwelook8 ай бұрын
Great idea. We had only tepid water in our Jayco caravan shower, kitchen, etc and figured the tempering valve wasn't working properly. We took the cap off and used an Allen key to tighten clockwise half a revolution and presto we got hot water flowing. I don't know if this is how you are meant to adjust temperature upwards, or (perhaps more likely?) if calcium deposits were blocking the hot water flow and got dislodged. Either way, the temp is comfortably hot now, so very happy. Love your suggestion and we'll look at getting a plumber to make those changes.

I had a blocked kitchen drain outside. I bailed it out and fished out the stuff lodged down there. It included a dead bird and one of my long screwdrivers (thanks son). With those gone there was still a lot of thick grey stinking sludge, but a drain plunger disc on rods shifted it.

Great video Ben. Just a quick one. I pulled the valve at top to release the pressure after 12 months and sometimes it drips specifically when using the hot water. My system is a Vulcan 170 and is only 12 months old do you think I have a problem?
@AloeVera229 ай бұрын
It is running non stop. Even I close the out-valve. It still runs. It I make the motor works at lower pressure level it stops when no values opens but runs again
