I discovered this band in high school. I was a very depressed, lonely teenager. This band meant so much to me, and still does. I'm sorry they were only around for a brief while. What they accomplished and created in that short time was so important. Bless Girls forever ❤

Not all of it - everything we recorded is on here. It was a great show made better by the lovely Bowery Ballroom staff, who gave us the promo table on account of my wife’s broken leg at the time. I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to share these videos of this brilliant band at the top of their game with the world. RIP to JR.

so true! it's the best lineup he had. The early lineup was great with John Anderson on guitar but as a full band this is it. And yes this show is legendary! So glad I was there.

God, I would do anything to have been at this show. I was late to discover them. It makes me even more sad because I have seen other shows there, and had my elbows on that stage. I saw CO live solo in 2014, and it was great, but GIRLS was like a shooting star.

@limericklad Of all the shows I've seen in my 10 years in NYC, this one is in the top 5. Perfect venue, setlist, spot in the crowd, and atmosphere. Not to mention it was free! Can't be topped, only equaled.

@andunemir - Thanks! It's just an iPhone. I make sure not to cover up the mic with my hand, but other than that nothing special. Not sure why other people's sometimes sound worse.
