Haunting song and lyrics, beautiful composition - first heard it on Australia's ABC Rage! Has anyone TAB the guitar solo? Interested in learning and I don't have the skill to TAB the guitar solo.

I want to hold you But every time I try Something keeps you Out of reach I want to love you But every time I try Something keeps Love away And I can feel it So love me right now Though it won't last Girl don't make me try 'Cause I'll lose you forever Every time Every time But every time I try To put our love out Like a fire You keep me in your reach And every time I try To throw away my desire You hold me So close And I can feel it So love me right now Though it won't last Girl don't make me try 'Cause I'll lose you forever Every time

This was the walk I took, on the last Thursday of every month, to the place I was going, to hear the music I wanted to hear performed by the musicians I wanted to hear play it. It has been the greatest loss of the Covid era that I they are no longer doing these gigs. I grew to love DTLA by watching the activity through the window of The Love Song. Come back, Spain!

Sounds like religious pilgrimage. Where were they playing? I've loved this band since I first heard Untitled 1 way back in 1996

Officially my summer’s favorite!

I like the (probably unintended)reminiscence to Traffic’s John Barleycorne. (Yes I’m sooo old already😅😅). It’s like a circle coming round, or a tune in orbit coming by again in a different age in a different form. Indeed a Masterpeace. Can’t wait to hear more new stuff!

Australian summer '97/'98. An 18yo country lad from a small town working on his '82 Holden WB ute. My first car. In the late afternoon heat of my father's dusty machinery shed, the J's cranked! A crackling Triple J blasting out of the radio hanging on the side of the shed. The aerial touching the shed steelwork helped pickup the reception. 'Everytime I tried' started slowly filtering through the rusty speakers. Never hearing it before, a few bars in I stopped working. By the end of the first verse my body had frozen still. By the last verse I was in tears. Crying like a baby with no knowledge of why, but for this song. In the last 20 or so years I have study, played and composed music. Listen to all the greats, from all the genres, from all corners of the globe. Sometimes I am moved, even deeply, but never so much to end in tears. A bloody pop song, I still can't believe it to this day. Thank you Spain, a great memory for myself and a great song for the world.

Also heard it on triple j back in the late 90s a couple of songs right before the hottest 100 of the year came out don't think it was on it but this song like you grabbed my emotions straight away and I was much younger than you at the time well not heaps maybe 4 years or so but couldn't believe what profound affect it had on me then and still now. This was the version on the radio pretty sure not the album with less strings or whatever else it's missing its almost like half the song is gone the soundtrack version is amazing! ❤️
