Or is it the result of the officer taking it upon himself to violate citizens' rights in order to rack up more arrests and get a promotion? I'm going to go with a little of both, but I think the important thing to note would be that this type of environment is facilitated and fostered and encouraged by higher-ups who want to have a level of control over how the cops do their job. In other words on some level there are people above the cops who want to be able to tell them how to do their job in order to enforce their own social norms and societal status-quo standards Rather Than The Actual Law. That's not law and order, that's arbitrarily enforcing the law based on your own personal whims in other words, that is the tyrannical cowards version of law & Order. IOW Whoever they: Like personally,. is in a similar cultural group, or is part a cultural group with political clout, or has the Means To Defend Themselves Financially - is Not Harassed. Whereas the most vulnerable and powerless, are constantly harassed and made into criminals by being charged with crimes that don't really exist based on the law of the land, or the policy overseers actually BREAK THE LAW and, More importantly, BREAK THEIR OATHS, committing treason just charge something with a crime to please there ssewej masters, they do that everyday. . American political leaders at the behest of ishrahell have created an environment where cops are encouraged to violate citizens' rights for no reason, harassing people minding their business, fishing for contraband, they're looking to lock people in a cage for victimless crimes and drugs which are far less damaging than the pharmaceutical industry as a whole. If you can toss out the entire Constitution and Bill of Rights for a little bit of drugs then it's meaningless.. that is the situation we have here today, what is the law? Our Constitution is no longer an effect, that is clear. There is NO LAW, except for "them". "They" decide what the law is and they follow their own rules that they write as they go.. But who🇮🇱is they? In fact it is this crazy hypocritical schizophrenic society that drives people to drugs to cope as a coping mechanism. And then the petty authorities want to regulate which drugs they can take based on how much profit those petty authorities can make off of them. I thought from my own experience that Brattleboro cops were not as bad as some other places but clearly I was mistaken based on these videos. The next question is which group of persons is affecting the policy sculpting it in such a way that on a street level they have completely removed any civil rights protections whatsoever, and in court the deck is stacked against you heavily. Ya they have to find probable cause, which is under scrutiny from a judge. I’ve seen situations where they get denied for the warrant after a seizure and they have to return the vehicle, but that’s rare. The cost of not having a vehicle for a week while they fuck around can be the major coat of the whole process, like if you have kids and a job to get to. I was surprised they didn’t search the backpack after she gave consent for the search of the vehicle, even tho it was the passengers property.
