Spot on, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much simpler and potent now!

"Perineal prostate biopsy is more painful than transrectal ultrasound prostate biopsy" is a myth. I had it with half of usual dose local anesthesia at my request. There was no pain at all, during and after the procedure. When I touched the area at home, there was no soreness. Compare this to a tooth extraction I would say the tooth extraction is much worse. I was back to regular activity the next day, no pain medication needed.

Thank you for this. I am a 69 year old brit i had slightly elevated psi earlier this year but was having difficulty passing urine so my gp got me a scan which showed an abnormality so i was scheduled for a perineal biopsy . I had that done pretty quick which showed prostate cancer with a gleeson of 7. I was offered surgery or brachytherapy but because of copd i was told brachy was the safest . I was scheduled within a month for the procedure . on the day my bp shot up and they could not reduce it so the procedure wss cancelled. I was then offered 6 months hormone and one month radiation treatment and was stsrted on adt a few days later. I was supposed to have a hormone implant put in each month and the radiation was scheduled for a couple of weeks later. After the first implant i decided that i wanted to approach my disease holistically and have started high dose vitamen supplementation and dietry changes and this week quit smoking. I was a chain smoker . I was inspired by the actor peter cushing who was diagnosed also at 69 and refused all treatment . He was a life long vegetarian and treated it with diet i was not a vegeterian but my toiletry has improved incredibly since i changed my diet . Cushing lived 12 years after initial diagnosis and whilst i know we are all individuals i thought he was a good source of inspiration . Good luck everyone and God bless us please

The update To my previous post. My brachytherapy was cancelled reluctantly by my consultant because on the day I had high blood pressure that they were unable to control. I am starting my hormone therapy this coming Monday with a month of radiation in 3 months time. I cannot praise enough the NHS here in the UK who have progressed me through the treatment paths with great speed and consideration . My path to initial diagnosis was that my PSA levels were not particularly high I had a tiny bit of urinary incontinence my GP decided to have an MRI done this showed an abnormality I was then given a biopsy and then scheduled for brachy therapy. I was thinking if having surgery for removal of the prostate but I have COPD so it was considered dangerous I was to be given a epidural anaesthesia for the brachy therapy. All this happened over 2 months from initial GP appointment . I am 69. this is a fantastic video thanks and i will try and fmiliarize myself with it as well as i can before my treatment on monday.
