Saw #59 at Stewartby in 1990 when it was in bits due to another 0500 going over the top. The boat was hanging with only certain parts holding it together

@@lelle61 I raced from 1974-1993,Runabouts,Hydros,Tunnels,and pad bottom boats.The Pro motors now are incredible compared to what we had.A good VRP or GRM 500 can put out 190 HP.The first motor I raced that put out 190 HP was a T2X,and ir was 1700 CC.

it was too sudden.. i would bet on engine seizing :( or ac pump faliure... (if there is one)

the right end of the video is the engine seized up? or caught something (rubish in the water) by the way , i saw this Mariann Jung fella at Baja 2 years ago :) he just seated next to me :) he was familiar, but never tought to that he could seat in the crowd between the races... wish i could ask many things about the engine itself....
