Your supposed to take the front cover off and then unscrew it. I just replaced mine

That tube has a heater wrapped around it to keep it from freezing up. it's probably failed. Replace the entire assembly ( order it with the heater installed around the tube), and reassemble the ice maker to the freezer compartment.

how did you take it off because I tried and I couldn't get it

Mine was powering down as soon as it hit the initial wash cycle. The first thing I looked at was the water inlet screen and the hot was almost 100% clogged. I have well water with nothing more than salt pellets when I remember to change then. We have high levels of sulfur and other stuff that is 300’ below ground in middleburg Florida. Well t used a dentist pick tool to break the clog and then a can of air to blow the screen out. Works great now.

DO NOT DO THIS!!! That water is SUPPOSED to be there. It’s part of the balance ring that’s not a real fix you just damaged a part in your washer.

You were sold a used refrigerator, your problem is a bad water fill tube. You also need the two front screws that you are missing. They hold up the ice maker.

Do you happen to know what the cubic feet of the washer is? I have the same one.

Your refrigerator looks used. If so that’s why the fill tube is so messed up and the two front screws are missing. If by any chance it’s not used I would take it back and show them so you can get a new one. Thanks for making this video.
