No Allan Holdsworth and no Great Guitar Player in his place = ZERO Interest, except for Terry. All great musicians but the Keyboard has nothing to break up the constant keyboard solos other than the fact that he also plays violin.

Bozzio is one of the greatest drummers to have touched the set ever. His style is so unique and full of nuances and power , I’m still impressed after watching him for 40 years.

It's such a shame that we never got the original incarnation back together with Holdsworth and Bruford as that would have been truly special but i'm really pleased that we got at least one of the classic UK lineups reunited with the trio of Jobson, Wetton and Bozzio who didn't miss a single beat at all, they sounded as good as they did back in 79 but with a much more harder hitting and muscular sound. RIP John Wetton and thanks for all of the legendary music

Wow, this new line up sounds amazing. The left keyboard does Steve Walsh, the right keyboard does Kerry Livgren's keys and Steve's voice, and the right guitar does Kerry's guitars.

I saw them in 1978 on their first US tour at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia (opening bands: Rush & Cheap Trick), then at Penn's Landing, at the largest outdoor show ever held there (obliterating the previously held record by Renaissance). These were 2 of the most impressive concerts I'd EVER been to before, & since... Every one of the 5 overall members were virtuosos in their own rights...but together, they were virtually superhuman.

This american prog band never played in Montreal during the 70's or 80's but now that so many of their american markets have lost interest in prog they are turning to Montreal who has always been prog proud and faithful. Please post more of this show..

There were 2 studio albums, but the first did NOT feature Bozzio it was Jobson, Wetton, Bruford and Holdsworth, the second was Jobson, Wetton and Bozzio - Bruford and Holdsworth left and in my estimation was not as fine an album. The live album featured the second line-up. Wetton told me there were huge disagreements all over even between he and Jobson which is why there were only 2 studio albums. Wetton did a solo album then Asia,
@artrock57412 жыл бұрын
Good for Jobson, fighting to NOT turn UK into the lame Asia! Jobson's deep composing talent was at the heart of what made UK great (IMHO), made even greater by having his work played by musicians on the level of Holdsworth and Bozzio.

Has it been this long?! I was in the first row on the left. My hearing still has not recovered. This is my favorite ASIA song. Played second. My friends favourite song was played first. Only Time Will Tell. October 12. The day before my birthday. So glad I went. Sad to know John Wetton is gone and so is ASIA with him.
