Very fascinating. You speak with an accent. Where are you from? I wish I had the brains to understand the math. Where is this used in engineering? More please!

@sortofschool3 ай бұрын
After effects have so-called expressions with extended JavaScript. So, I just program equations of these spirals into it and use time as one of the parameters to change them in real time. You can start making graphs with something simple, like a sine wave and build from it anything that you want I have the starting project on my github, you can find it below the main video on the channel

More than one location square is overkill. Lets say that the locator square (33=6) should allways be in the top left, then the program would allways rotate the grid accordingly.

What would the value of the variable 'p' (i.e. S / l) be if the three circles were connected as if they were toothed-gears?
@sortofschool5 ай бұрын
They already move as toothed-geared. Because we placed a condition, that they should move without sliding. The `p` variable characterizes the speeds of second and third gears.

How does the quote at the end hint to that I can find any interpretation I want? Or, if I misunderstood it, which quote is it?

As a Japanese, I find it interesting that people in other countries believe that QR codes are 666. (The dehumanizing impression of QR codes may make sense in that they use a 1:1:3:1:1 ratio design as a "finder pattern" that our society has rarely employed.)

I plugged it into desmos so you can slide the sliders instead of type in values. The desmos id is rxcjhywgwt, as youtube blocks links. Just paste it at the end of the calculator url.

30:14 Ah Hah! The label "Error correction MODULES" is shown on the video. Even the [CC] thought you were saying "models" this whole time. I didn't understand why a single square was (also) called a model. How about supplying your own subtitles with the video, directly from the script? It could really help. BTW, in English "Galois" is pronounced the way an English-speaking person would repeat back the way Gaalois (or some other native French speaker) would say it. So it's gal-WAH. More rigorously, using IPA it's /ɡælˈwɑː/.
@sortofschool Жыл бұрын
OMG, just heard it, you right. I will add subtitles, it's confusing. I was thinking first about replacing this word with "squares", but in this case there is no way to differentiate between them. Like: "QR code is a big square that is made of small squares and have medium squares to orient big square the right way" just does not sound right.

This is so-called alignment patterns. Alignment patterns are only present in QR Codes of version 2 or larger. In this video, I discuss version 1, so they are not present. As the QR code size increases, the number of these squares also increases-there can be up to 46 of them in Version 40! The specification doesn't explicitly state their purpose, but I believe they are exist because larger QR codes may get distorted or bent. This means the rows and columns might not appear straight when captured by a camera. The alignment patterns helps to programmatically "flatten" the QR code to ensure accurate reading.
