Hello, because that was the theme for the clip, as in the 80s films with zombies and werewolves were on the rise. The director was even inspired by the film 'An American Werewolf in London' from 83, for Michael's transformation at the beginning of the video. Thanks for commenting.

Closest thing I can think of is a Chanel 4014, that's back from the ass-end of the 90s, thats very close to this. Best bet is to trudge around Chanel, Armani, & Dior all pre-2000.

What I always appreciated about the Thriller Music Video as a film nerd was that it captured many different aesthetics very well in such a small amount of time,the Gothic shots of the graveyard remind me of old universal monster movies like Frankenstein and Creature from the Black Lagoon,the street scenes remind me of the the shots you see in 80’s movies like Karate Kid and Jason takes Manhattan,and what makes it all worth it is that it’s actually scary when it needs to be scary,well acted,well sung,and most of all…capped off with the perfect scare,I’m so happy I got to see it remastered in true 4K,the colors really pop with it.

Minha primeira vez na boate estava tocando l’amour toujours, essa música ficou na minha cabeça, mudei de país, comecei a trabalhar, e no meu trabalho começou a tocar essa música!! Finalmente, consegui encontrar. Também sou italiana, coincidência!! Depois desse dia, alguns meses se passaram, e eu estava na boate, momento magnífico da minha vida, tinha me separado (relacionamento abusivo) e pela primeira vez estava curtindo a vida, e aí tocou essa música.
