Even on others social media they pop up out of nowhere showing spoilers/leaks... Humanity is so doomed that avoiding them is nearly impossible, especially for Mihoyo, who leaks themselves before the official update.

I dont agree. As a musician I can say that this theme is done even more powerful and with quality than Signora's theme. Signora's theme was typical ''dramatic opera'', while here we have twisting nature shown with a really interesting progression that combines something usually not combined in music and in a non orthodox way. I'd say both themes depict their characters very well.

I always stopped when exploring new regions desd on my tracks just to hear new themes. Liyue harbor's themes, watatsumi Island theme, Port ormos theme and now this. So fucking good.

I think it's mainly because most Genshin players, even those who are obsessed with Genshin music, care more about whether the music is more melodious and catchy. Quite a few very classically influenced Fontaine tracks don't seem to get enough attention. If possible, I even hope that HOYO-MIX can write a full-movement symphony of more than forty minutes for Genshin. But it seems that not many people care, so HOYO-MIX doesn’t care either.

@@rickcooper4809 exactly. The only problem I have with hoyomix is that their tracks keep getting shorter and shorter since Yu Peng Chen's departure. I wouldn't say the music quality declined but I dare say they keep getting lazier than yesterday. I mean... fk the 40 minutes symphony. I'd be more than happy if battle themes have around 10 minutes playtime. ISTG. (To talented musicians, please speak out for us fr. It's better if you are chinese lol.)

@@ultramanbadman3618 I think it's still fine. I personally feel that Yu-Peng Chen's departure is very sudden for them. Judging from their Fontaine BtS video, they are extremely pressed for time. After 4.X ends, the number of tracks is estimated to exceed 3.X. Secondly, in the meantime, Dimeng Yuan, as the leader of the HOYO-MIX Genshin division, also needs to spend time as the music director of the Shanghai concert. To me personally, the quality and quantity of their music right now doesn't make me think they are getting lazy. Edit: I mentioned the Shanghai concert because, based on my personal speculation on Genshin’s music development cycle, Chenyu Vale’s OST and 4.6’s OST were probably written between September, October, and November.

2 and a half minutes is a very normal song length. They're not lazy, you're just greedy. If they were lazy, we wouldn't be getting tons of unique tracks with every single area they release.

@@pigeontoes5421 no it isn't normal. This is a battle theme and one of the shortest to exist tbh. My ears are somewhat exposed to classical music, and it's hard to normalize that kind of duration in a great composition.
