I have a 360pt one I’d like to break out but it’s thick af will it be too tough?

PSA basically admitted they can’t tell if a card was soaked or cleaned. The only reason it was decertified was because he recorded himself doing it and they just went to the cards he submitted and decertified them.

This is great. I wasn't collecting in this era, so it is nice to have an overview of the sets.

Your preference for having so many cards in binders is one of the reasons I love your videos so much.

I was reading on line that back in 2001 Fleer did a collaboration with Target where Target inserted many non numbered 1997 autographics CM card stock with real auto but not serial numbered in Target exclusive fleer packs at the time. This is before Fleer bankruptcy 2005. So while these non-numbered autos (likely without stamps too) are technically not Century Marks pack pulled, they were still officially pack inserted and not backdoor post bankruptcy purchased. Please do confirm on this bit of information- if that is case, I actually think this look pretty cool with the glittering Century Marks logo - kinda like Upper Deck buybacks auto I guess

people don't realize the effect of cleaning carboard, one doesn't know what the chemicals will do too that card in the long run. chrome is different but what will it do to that card down to road. if you have seen chrome card when they first came out back in 90's the cards that are starting blur and color run doing nothing to that card. so, adding something could speed up the process or maybe it won't do a thing you don't know the effects. the scratches on a card are still there it just been filled in with the cream or substance added.

I have a Vince Carter Autographics that is numbered to 50 with the skybox embossed stamp. But it doesn't have the purple foil. Is this still a Century Marks? Did Skybox or Vince mix up the cards when he signed?

It's OFF CENTERED. I graded a Griffey jr, centered like that and got an 8. PSA is GARBAGE

Not a huge fan of grading in the first place. It's very interesting that some people use chemicals on their cards. The only time I ever submitted was to BGS and literally took the 5 unsleeved cards out of my box and the majority of them graded a 9.5 😂

So if I buy a raw card and submit it (which I do a lot of) and it comes back cleaned will they suspend my account? Doesn’t seem fair

This is a good thing. But it makes me reluctant to ever grade raw cards i buy. If the do have a method to detect cleaning thats great but it makes me not want to sub cards i didnt pull myself. You would be suprised how common card polishing is in the hobby...
