Hi Precious, thank you for the video! Did you work in health care prior to becoming a medical coder? I know many jobs require some experience working in health care plus a CPC certification.

Hi precious, I got little confused . You meant to say you just did CPC fast track course of 3 months from AMCI and nothing else. You didn’t do any coding course before that. After this fast track course you took that exam and you passed it, am I correct ?
@soprecious35564 күн бұрын
Hi! I am not sure what is a fast track course is from AMCI but what I am sure is that I took the Instructor-Lead CPC course which I switched to the self paced course which made me finish the course within 3 months instead of the 6 months.

Hi! So I'm just now starting my medical coding journey and was curious about AMCI. You said you joined because of the black friday deal, was it substantially cheaper, was the program helpful? I'm still debating whether or not to enroll in a course and they all seem super pricy so I was curious about the pricing of this one. Also, did you take your CPC exam with AAPC? Hi, I too am interested in pursuing this field! I am wondering though does this type of job follow "metrics," as in you have to process a certain number or amount of paperwork per hour/day/month in order to be considered a capable employee? I don't work well in a fast-paced, heavy metric type job, so I'm really curious about that. Thanks in advance! Also, Iive in the state of Florida and the cost of living to get by for a single person is around $45,000, so according to your stat payscale chart, earning that stated amount would be AMAZING! 🤩
