Thanks for posting this. I'm using a new Mac and had no info on setting up mods. I finally worked it out and started working on both Courseplay and Autodrive. Got CP worked out, but AD had me bamboozled. First (and last til now) sojourn into it took me to the road network where I panicked (had no idea that these routes were accessible), turned the computer off and hid under the bed, convinced the satellites were scanning me. 🤣 Everything is now making sense, well sort of, but it is time to jump in the deep end and have another shot at it. @@EarthrunnersCasualGamer Sadly though, because I purchased the game from Apple's App Store, Giants_software does not support their legally purchased software. They refuse to honour their own software, they will not support it. They will however demean those who purchased it from Apple's App Store. Even after the last update, which cost me all my money and left me with a debt which I couldn't trade away and most of my machinery, their reply was basically "suck it up princess, just start a new game." They really aren't nice people. And Apple's response was, "not our problem. Cya later." I played this game back around 2011, but had to install windows on my Mac (legally) at the time, and did well, now I'm back but my opinion of Giants has changed dramatically. Very sad. The only source of info now is you guys, here on YT because Giants will NOT allow access to their support forum to anyone who legally purchased THEIR software from the App Store. Anyway, I have looked at the routes and my first "informed look at AD resulted in my nearly destroying the routes around the farm 🤣. Fixed them though. Cheers my friend.

Can I say something shouldn’t they move by itself? I mean, I’m I’m sure I’ve seen videos. They’re moving the trailers on the on the way it moves out of the way so the harvester can continue or verse versa what happened it should’ve moved. I mean I know things happen butafter this day, I don’t know what the tested myself

I think they should do, but it's not the first time it's happened to me in FS25. My Earthrunner Ranch Let's Play had the same issue a couple of times off camera. Perhaps its a bug, or just my set up. I'll experiment with it all and see if I keep having it happen.

What I think is that it should you should get a lower trailer. There’s a new model for a trailer that the bunker goes up and down but and it’s pretty low level. I tried so many times and I get stuck. I think it’s a low trailer you need a load trailer so it doesn’t get stuck underneath the pipe of the harvester because it’s not as big as a carbine harvester.

Thanks for your comment. I would do if I was doing a let's play but I wanted to demonstrate the issues of using tall trailers when combining AD & CP for crop harvesting. THanks for the advice, though.

I know I got his file. They’re amazing l donate to him the auto drive guy. You sound like you can make some pretty amazing routes too. If you get into it as well I will also, I will also donate to you. I am looking for also married maps the top modded maps that are rated. I’m looking for someone to do courses for it like the French map. It’s a beautiful map like the US map as well. Amazing. I will donate to him.

@@EarthrunnersCasualGamer u should give it a ago I spend hours doing the route something about seeing the ai move lol but I am not patient and we do need more people in this community to do or auto drive that way auto drive courses that way we can get routes right away you know what I mean at least that’s what I’m looking for all the time I would donate and I usually donate to the people who actually to do the work

These mods are so helpful, and also so enigmatic at the same time. I've had the same issue with the chase tractor doing the odd backup before going to unload, even though it was lined up perfectly already. I've done a large combined field and the tractor won't unload while the combine is still running, even though the setting is set to allow it... I just walk away and it's done its job eventually. It only bothers me if I watch too closely. For baling I save the course the swather or combine took, then load that for the tractor pulling the baler and it works well. Hey, thanks for your comment. Where would we be without AutoDrive and Courseplay! I'm usually focusing on capturing cinematic shots when I set AD and CP going. I couldn't get the baler to follow the combine course in my AutoDrive video, the one before this video. I used to do it with grass following the windrower in FS22, but I've never followed a combine to bale straw. I was going to have another go and potentially do a "More AutoDrive" video.

I've just seen the reason I couldn't get the baler to collect the swath! I was trying to use a course for Field 65 on the map, not Field 3, which I was working in. What an idiot I am :-)

Can you make AD & CP work with root crop harvesters? For the life of me, I haven't been able to get it working. Routes are good and both harvester and cart work on calls but the cart always runs into the back of the harvester, it won't pull up along side like it does with a combine. I've tr8ed adjusting off set, distance etc. Any thoughts?

Hi, I've just had a quick test with spuds, and the cart got the call and followed the harvester close behind. It didn't drive alongside when it should have, but it did pull up and collect the potatoes once the harvester was 100% full. This is not how one would expect it to work, but it does seem to work to some extent. I'll keep testing and then do a video.

honestly, I love the production quality and gameplay, but for a small creator, my only advice is to pull off the pressure. Your hobby should be the making of/editing videos, or the love for the games and having fun. it is your time, your life, your energy. Live life to the fullest. I hope you''re well and you might get some more views, but I mostly hope you're having fun❤❤

You've got decent production quality going on, so I was surprised by the negativity you have toward how many people might watch this video. Not because I think you shouldn't acknowledge that you have fewer subscribers, but because it breaks the immersion and can actually have the opposite effect as intended. An example: I have to admit, the self-flagellation comment at the very beginning was off-putting. I wanted to give your channel a good chance, but after hearing that it made me think if I do watch it, does that mean I hate myself? I'm not a content creator, so I don't know much about how to do well, but it looks like you've got some potential. I don't know how to tell you to "fix it" since just saying "be less negative" isn't super helpful. But it certainly doesn't give me joy to watch a video that claims it's only value is to punish oneself with. Though, if that's the audience you're looking for, then you're doing great, no notes. Idk, maybe that really is the goal! Anyway, hopefully this is *constructive* and useful.

Hey! My first ever comment on the channel; thank you for that. I appreciate the positive feedback. It's not until you start doing it that you realise how painful it is to get a decent set of content just to make a few seconds of cinematic. Thank the makers for CoursePlay, AutoDrive and Flight mode.
