Would this work well for regular pickup truck tires? Looking for something i can store up in the raftors of the little shop i have behind my house. Instead of the harbor freight tire changer that uses a bit of space

Good lord! I wish I would’ve seen this video sooner. I helped my father-in-law with his tires on his truck and we had the dismount tool but we didn’t have the mounting tool. Needless to say, we spent hours on getting the job done. It was truly an experience. Waking up the next day from all the pulling and pushing, I worked out muscles I haven’t in over a decade lol. Very inspirational video. Cannot wait to give this another shot once my body has recovered! 😂

Most truck drivers are not driving show trucks. Those guys pay more for the rim and more to have them done without damage most do not care

No, we have special padded covers for those Supertruckers wood polish wheels but to change one tire on there. Super truck wheel is $250 to take it off at 250 to put it back on.

Watched your video and tried the wd40 in the inlet and worked a treat …I have a bma foot pump and it was permanently bypassing Thou it now bypasses when load starts to come on - I use it to power a hose crimper and now it just won’t crimp the ferrules tight enough - what do you think the problem is ?

You'll bend the back ring if you stay on that tool too long. you should just get a gap so you can move it along and not just in one spot. As soon as you get a gap big enough to put a lug nut in there. do so, then you can release and move to another spot, and not bend that back ring

I can build a million dollar house but can't get this mongrel thing to work. I have done everything they do and it won't drop down to the top lip to cantilever over the rim. Waste of money.

Some tires are tricky especially older ones they get too stiff to flex enough. It also takes some getting used to. My shop uses these and it's a huge time saver.

Just bought it. I don't know if they make two different sizes or not but it was just an expensive tire iron had to use an old tire iron on it as well, to get it over the bead, we are breaking down 22.5 aluminum and have to use tire bar to get tool into the tire and the tire bar to get tire off the rim as well as using the new tool. Not quite the ease we were expecting that's for sure. Honestly after using it on four aluminum rims I wish my boss had just bought me a new regular tire bar.

Bought this tool 2 years ago. Not good, its a joke at best to see how long you will try it before you go to the old tire spoon way! I even got it stuck trying to get it back off the wheel.

It's you, not the tool. I got one a month ago, the first few tires I did were a challenge. Now, I can take a tire off and back on in about 6 minutes start to finish. I did all 10 on one of my roll off trucks in under 2 hours, and that included patching 3 of the tires on the inside. It works, but it take muscle and practice.

Yeah when used correctly these are actually fuckin great but a lot of techs consider it the "easy way" so we mostly stick to our bars

@noelduarte4557 because yeah, a tool that makes a techs job easier and faster is a complete waste of money. "I could do 6 tires in an hour, or I could look cool and 'old school' by using these spoons and do 3 or 4... Hmm... Let's see... Gimme those spoons and take a seat, this is gunna be a while!" Said no piece work mechanic EVER! What the fuk are you thinking?!?
