Cut a slot in the frame like the other side with a torch or cutoff. That’s what I did and it worked perfectly fine.

I’m getting ready to do this and am determined to take apart as little as possible. Hopefully I’ll get some good video so there can be a start to finish video of the easy way to do it.

my 1990 is the same way, I wonder why some motor mounts are different because the 1990 model seems to be the worst.

You think it's hard trying to find a video on a 1990 S10 try finding videos for a 1984 in 1986 because that's what I have I have a 85 and I'm in the process of replacing the driver side motor mount and I'm trying not to drop the front diff and do it by myself
