I really enjoy your videos. Your railroad has a grittyness that I like.

Great locomotives and rolling stock. The vignettes you videoed added to the prototypical feel of your layout. 💯

0:22 Slight correction here. The baggage and dining car were not released as add-ons for the Lake Shore Limited. They were add-ons for the Silver Spike set which came out in 1988. You can tell because the striping on the baggage and diner are much diffirent than the striping on the Lake Shore Limited coaches. Instead, they have the same striping as the 1988 Silver Spike set.

I see what looks like 2 different kinds of track. Super O and what else?
@unioncityline3 ай бұрын
The UCL mostly uses Gargraves track and switches, along with some 1950’s and 60’s era Lionel 027 and super O. The movable frog Gargraves switches are from the 60’s. Many of the Gargraves flextrack sections had the center rail removed (long story) and then later replaced with code 148 steel rail spiked down to the wooden ties.

@@unioncityline Thanks for the explanation. I've seen a lot of handlaid track but never in O gauge - O scale but not gauge. Wondered if my eyes were deceiving me.
