Nice! I wanted a 1969 Camaro, but I couldn't find one. So, I picked up a 1970 Chevelle instead. I had an LS swap done to it.

Bolt ons aren’t going to add 110-115+ hp which is what’s needed to run high 10’s@122mph+ in these at sea level in good air and 45* temps. Bolt ons are long tubes, full exhaust and Manifold. CAI upgrades don’t really add more than a few hp so I left it out on purpose. I have more than enough mustangs and LS/LT checks over the last 27 yrs to know what works and what adds power. I won’t waste $ on something if air can’t get at least 12 ho out of it and upgraded CAI’s don’t add more than a few hp. Not worth the $250-500. Just a high flow filter will do, even on boosted apps. Larger TB will help but only about 5-7hp. A car that runs 10.5@125 at ATCO in Feb when DA is 2500-3000 ft below sea level << (which is equal getting 40-60 free hp) is one thing, but “that same car” down in Orlando speed world at 50 ft above sea level elevation and DA of 300 ft below sea level will run 11.3@ 118.

With cold air under 30* F and a DA of -700 ft. Slow sea level, this is possible but conditions like this, like ATCO, are rare and only in winter.

I ran 11.96 stock on 17in radials . I just ported msd mani, ported tb , Roto fab dry air , jba 1/7 8 fully catless , msd 2 step set at 3k rpm fresh granatelli plugs and wires and E85 tuned car was done a few days ago been waiting to go test going out today let’s see the time difference from 11.9 stock to these mods now

@@brycedaloc7785 Your 11.4 indicates you have drag radials. I am FBO, and so far my best is 11.900 @ 120.xx mph on street tires on prepped track in 70+ degree weather at 1600 DA. Without mods 11.4 is your best time on track, you won't hit low 11's on these cars stock. It is nearly unheard of without a drag pack. High 10's is a stretch unless like this video: Winter, 0 or less DA on a prepped track

Same colour scheme as my '17 and same long tube headers. I have Rotofab as well but dry. No E85 yet but that's coming when I do the cam and heads. Instead of drag radials I've just got TSW Brooklands and Continental DWS's.

What’s the best mode to race in track or sport mode? From the testing I’ve been doing sport mode is great for getting off the line (on stock tires) with launch control but track mode, boy do you spin 😂. I’m trying to figure what witch one is better to use for a dig and then for the road course.

I thought I read somewhere the stock axles can handle 700+ whp if I'm not mistaken, its when you go above that you have to start worrying. Drive shaft as well is 700+ I think too.

I’m thinking of upgrading the driveshaft just because yes I track it ,and daily drive it. No where near 700+. Call me crazy but I’m gonna start to run a ⭕️ D converter w/factory cam!
