Ofocurs in Japan and, a lot of Asian countries, being pale is considered a beauty standard. So colorism is a real problem. But that was not what was going on here, the mom was not being racist. The girls are literally the same race as the mom(Japanese-Asian)😅 It's just that they tanned themself like crazy to fit a trend, and the mom is a stereotypical Japanese mom who has little boundaries and tough love for the younger generation.

The subtitles are so annoying. They aren't bad, but they have some strange moments where they alter what the characters say. Like with the duel with Kondo-san/Gorilla-san when Gin's wooden sword breaks. After Gin calls him naive, he actually says something along the lines of: "They should just talk this out like adults instead of fighting", not "This was the most painless way to do this". When the main trio was having a burping contest, Kagura referred to herself as Goku(from Dragonball), but the subtitles translated it to something completely different... In the first episodes, Gin actually broke the fourth wall a few times, but the subtitles translated it so that they just removed his comments about being "the main character" and "being too excited for his intro scene", and "1-minute anime" altogether. Same in the last episode in this set, the policeman complains that Gin somehow forgot them in 4 episodes, but this is translated to 3 weeks instead. Pretty sure the subtitles are slightly more PG than what is actually being said as well. In Gin's first intro scene, he says "Blah blah blah... quit you babbling" in the subtitles. But what is a better and more accurate translation is "Blah blah blah... are you in heat or something?".

Vasto Lorde form of Ichigo has one vulnerability which is just break his one of horn. But it is not easy to do when his survival instincts are super high in this form.

Well, you did predict some of the strongest characters in the series haha. I think you might enjoy some aspects. It sure doesn't feel that action paced all the time especially in the beginning but KHR is sort of an experience. Good action at times, a lot of wholesome emotion and fascinating characters. I do recommend giving it a shot one day :)

The fact that it is so dark and twisted makes it all the more satisfying when the Goblin Slayer finally arrives. When I rewatched the first episode after finishing the season I started smiling involuntarily at the sound of boots on the cave floor when he was about to show up.
