@@Carmoelectronics I sent email asking about CARR531. This is what someone told me worked for them for the main right side regulator. Instead of sending photo, my bike is exactly the same as yours in your video. I was also looking at Carmo USA thinking I can have local shipping. Do you actually only ship and communicate from Netherlands?

@@chelydra Hi, Carmo USA also sell regulators, you could contact them directly [email protected]. Regarding the video it has been 6 years when the bike was in shop I really cannot remember the regulator 🙂.

##UPDATE Ok so I’m happy to say this box does work , and work great. The gains are more than expected big difference. So happy and my son is too. Thanks to Kevin @ Carmo who helped work with me to solve what was going on. We discovered the Carmo box was perfectly fine but was a foreign coil that came with a kit which was producing no spark. Big thanks to Kevin at Carmo who is absolutely a Guru in this kind of thing. I should also add that I did order through the wholesaler here in Australia. After personal dealing with Carmo they have a great work ethic, I realised that they are very proud in what carmo can offer and so they should be. 100% this works Cheers Al

I think if it was any more tuned than what these guys have done it would blow the motor without a doubt.

Hey Alan, normally the DT has a battery, but it could be they have used a capacitor.As far as I know they do not use a lightning coil, but we are not a Yamaha workshop so I am not 100% sure.

We have never tested this. So we don't know, maybe you could ask a Yamaha dealer! You could also check whether the plug connections are the same.💥

Well after 6 months of troubleshooting everything from jetting to mechanical issues, and now to electrical. The cdi finally fixed my problems and I just got out for the first ride on the engine swap. Thanks guys

Thanks for the feedback, because the replacer unit is more efficient, it has a higher idle speed and we didn't adjust it. And someone forgot to press the start button in time 🤣
