@@richardhathcock1974 The way it's worded, you can basically "ink another card", like Belle's ability. So it has to be inkable and revealed.

@SnapquesterMage the only difference in wording between it and inkbone quil is the word additional and you don't use reveal or quil. Poor wording imo. I feel it simply should say place a card from your hand, but I'm willing to wrong on my own interpretation of this card.

@richardhathcock1974 it should definitely be more clear! One of our locals is actually a judge, and said that's why. Said the word "additional" means it follows all normal inking rules. And it would only be any card if specifically saying face down into inkwell. Or at least that's how I understand it. 🤷

@@mlggeek1812 I don't like Snake, because you almost never want to play it on 2, taking another threat off the board. Smee and Calhoun are almost always a better play. For both of those matchups a well-timed Pete can make or break the game, and multiple Petes basically seal the deal. Always save Foxes for Pete replays, unless you absolutely have to use it elsewhere. Stopping ramp and removal from RB and all the songs from SteelSong is back breaking. And it helps buy time in a matchup you're probably gonna struggle with otherwise.

@@yulyeon that's one of the big reasons I use them. Excellent shuffle feel and crystal clear fronts. They're Ultimate Guard Katanas, and I've been using them exclusively for almost a decade.

@@Seeroon I can tell you I probably won't be able to do anything until summer! I'm a teacher, and these projects take literal weeks (this one alone was well over 100 hours start to finish). But happy to work behind the scenes on things. The next scrips I have lined up is specifically to explain its poor theatrical performance (not necessarily what you'd expect), and then some more character deep diving. But again, probably won't be able to do anything of substance until summer. The Lorcana vids I do now take maybe an hour or two, and relatively easy to pump out. These take so much more time and care and effort and research and scripting and editing...!

And this winter break has been filled with tons of other issues (6 yr old fractured her leg, lice outbreak at her school, and juggling multiple family houses for holidays... BUSY BUSY TIMES!)

@@Seeroon She's fine, small fracture and sprang from a trampoline park. (fyi NEVER bring kids there! :P ). Just a difficult and annoying thing to deal with. She's in a splint boot and mostly fine, just can't do any running/jumping or a lot of fun kid activities ALLLL winter break.

@@Tree3D Yeah pretty much. I never feel like I need the card draw from Broom, and it helps against Steel matchups (as well as pairing nicely with Crab). It's a personal pet card I really like.

YES! Unfortunately he has taken a leave of hiatus. He's also a big Judge for Pokemon and was making a career transition that caused a lot of scheduling issues. I hope he comes back to Lorcana though. Was always fun chilling with him!

@@roadhouse39 hmmmm that's not a bad observation!! I was just terrified that he tops some multiple lore-gain off the top with all the card draw. Gather, Goat, Rose, heck even Donald/Chip. I was laser focused on keeping him as clear as possible and I'd "eventually get there."

@@tobi901 Unfortunately not! Sorry! All these are League events, and if I'm nothing friends with the opponent already (to be able to ask after) I usually don't get their lists! I might have to start asking!

@@LorcanaLingo-lv4fx 9 times out of 10, I prefer Mickey over Broom. There's already so much card draw as is, and Broom needs an additional card to draw. It insulates against stuff like Storm Rage On, makes other removal less effective, and usually trades up in combat (especially with Crab). I've been back and forth with Doc a lot, but I feel like it's just too many unsinkables. I could probably go down Rabbits to make room... But it's always been hard. You never actually want to play him on turn 2, and usually play off the top or later in game when Rabbit might provide better value? I don't know. Always changing. I don't know what the "perfect" list looks like, but I like the problem of having too many cards I like.

I have 2 mr arrow 2 billy bones for the locations and item removal. Also library is a must. I also use doc and 3 tinkerbell (evasive) and steel big tink. You usually can quest for 2 then shift next turn. It's too good on removal and playing 2 turns early is great. Also gantu helps with closing games. Calhoun is good for early pressure. Makes people scared to quest and is great against aggro.

@@drorios8864 I feel like there's two different specific directions you can take these colors. A low wide aggro version, which will be better against Sapphire decks, and a bigger, chunkier midrange version, which is better against Steel decks. I'm trying to find a happy medium between them, but I don't know if that's a better path than committing to one over the other and just hoping for good matchups. Always something to think about

@SnapquesterMage mine is a crossbreed of both. For example sticky mickey is good against early steel song. Smee is just good. Mr arrow quest for 2 has resist 1 good for amber steelsong again. Calhoun is good for aggro. Evasive tink is good for all but red. If it sticks then big tink on 4 becomes a problem for red or just no shift and use evasive tink for aggro. Gantu is good for throwing down a body at the end that is hard to remove. Genie is card draw and aggro but bad against red. Billy bones is good for aggro and against any deck with items or locations. Library is good against all. You'll be surprised how many cards you draw and how much passive lore you get. The library in my opinion is made for this deck. I have 4 cannons, 2 babooms, 2 smash and 1 zeus for removal. That's pretty much all you need against most decks.

Goat is also good for end game and crab is good to beef up anyone. With this version you can go aggro or control the board to a degree. Once you master this deck against all match ups then you should have a lot of success vs all decks. It is the most flexible deck against all besides ruby amethyst

But SOMEONE is gonna play it, and you need to be prepared! If you play Steel, you're pretty much already there, but the Ruby Sapphire folks gotta stay on their toes, so they don't just lose on T4. I don't think it's gonna win a big tournament, but it can take down games here and there, and make people sweat along the way...!

@@hungvan6326 Good catch! I don't see big Simba often, so that's a good thing to look out for! Usually he's snap bodyguard mode.

@@jamesjones9467 honestly I feel like snake is one of the weakest cards. It's great late game to bounce and replace stuff, but you almost never want to play it on T2 (Calhoun or Smee, or even two 1-drops is better pretty much all the time). Honestly I could see going to 0 to make room for other stuff. Like, its lets me re-use "good cards", but by cutting it, I can just put more "good cards" in the deck!

@@padden5574 Yes! They cannot Quest, and have to challenge IF ABLE, but if you they sing (which they're not disallowed to do) then they're not ABLE to challenge.
