The song Bloodflowers is a top 10 Cure track for me, absolutely incredible song and the fact that it’s on here alone absolutely elevates the record.

Hi do you know if the re print 2022 album day vinyl that was released has the single “perfect” on it? It isn’t on the track listing but it’s in the description so I’m not sure what to believe, or maybe it’s a secret song?
@markreed454312 күн бұрын
@@brooksjonx probably not, Perfect was added on in America and otherwise was only on a limited version of the 1983 LP with a 12" of bonus tracks (it was a rerecording I think, the single is a very different version)

I just strayed on this. Great video. Clearly you have excellent taste! Massive Wedding Present fan. I wasn’t sure where David was going with Cinerama when I first heard it, but it very quickly grew on me. The first 3 tracks of Disco Volante is possibly my favourite 3 track sequence of any album.

Oh No, you have TDS, Don't worry next week he will be cleared of any convictions. in "Dog Day Afternoon" They robbed the bank to get money for a sex change operation for Sal, not joking - it's based on a true story. I also have all the Revolting Cocks albums; Do I listen to them Hell No, nothing on these albums stands out as necessary - I loved the first 2 albums, Not "You Godamned Son of a Bitch" but the other 2 "Big Sexy" and "Linger" I have most of Al's side projects even the ones where he plays it straight like on Alan Vega's album "Saturn Strip" where he wrote "Saturn Drive" which could nearly be called a Ministry Song as Stephen George hits some things on that track, Ric Ocasek of the cars and Vince Ely of The Psychedelic Furs are also on that track - Alan Vega is from the Group Suicide who have a song called "Frankie Teardrop' which I first heard while staying in a Haunted Nunnery in the middle of the night alone - and it scared the shit out of me.

Trump Derangment Syndrome, makes you believe all the things said by people who hate him, so when they go after him with fake law suits and conspiracies, you would think it is totally justified because these people who hate him said so. but then again, I stand with Morrissey "Everyday is like Sunday"

Got turned on to SoM by WRAS “Album 88” back in 1988 ironically enough. They played Lucretia and I was hooked by the bass line. Floodland as a whole is an instant time warp back to that time and remains on my playlist to this day.

WMS is actually one of my favorite albums by The Cure, and I know it's because the this is the one that introduced me to the band. Since I wasn't familiar with any of their previous work, this was all I knew of them, and I loved it. Of course they have better albums, but this is far from their worst as many seem to think it is.

@@markreed4543 I also saw them live for the first time on this tour in Salt Lake City, USA. It was a fantastic show, I remember thinking it was so cool that they intentionally didn't have an opening band on that tour so that they could play longer sets. No one is buying a ticket to The Cure to see some opening band, so I found it awesome that the band chose to give the audience as much as they could for the price of a ticket.

I brought 9 maiden albums Last year, I had no interest after "Seventh Son" on because I stopped being a child, I turned 16 but as an elderly man I got "No Prayer" and "Fear Of The Dark" and I was right to quit when I did - Interesting they Played Here A few weeks ago and I didn't know so missed it completely - And when you have to fly to another country to see most bands It was a big fail on my part - I have 3 concerts lined up for the next 6 months Everclear, Icehouse, Stellar* and one I won't say because shame is a real thing.
