@@shainmathew204 That explains everything about them and why they polarise so much. They only focus on the melody first, which is why they have catchy melodies and often trashy lyrics.

You've fixed my one major complaint with the album, Year of the Cup is the only track I ever skip when listening through the album. It's a shame, because I love the Nurture-esque instrumental and Porter's verses, I just can't stand the Lil Wayne interview excerpts. I can see what Porter was going for and I appreciate the message, but it just doesn't work for me. I'd previously opted for the version on KZbin that filters out the talking, but that leaves long segments of somewhat samey instrumental breaks, which feels a bit awkward in my opinion. Your edit is the perfect substitute, the vocal chops fit the song and the vibe of SMILE :D nicely. I'll definitely be returning to this video when I want to listen to Year of the Cup from now on. Great work!
