Best thing I ever did was leave the hometown I grew up in and never turn back. It was a fine little town but it was one where everyone knew everyone, gossip was everywhere, there were like two main options for employers (neither which aligned with anything I wanted to do). The only part that hurt was not getting to see family as much as I should have. Aside from that, there are so much to see and so many places that have more opportunity, and you only live once so fuck it. 🎉
