Eugene, I just removed my pully and took that bolt completely out 9:47 and I do not see any blue or any other color lock tight on it. My machine is factory new. Never been removed until now. Also, never had a problem either.

Hi Eugene, your 14mm dimension is a straight line measurement …where on the starter wheel is this 14mm measured? At the outside radius of the wheel (ie the top of the tooth) or at the bottom of the tooth? 14mm on the outer radius of the starter wheel produces a different angular displacement than measuring 14mm at the bottom of the tooth. -I know the difference will be small but as we’re substituting a 14mm linear measurement for a angular displacement I just wanted to know. And if you know what the actual angle from top dead center should be, that would be good to know also. Thanks much!
@therealeugenecussons7 ай бұрын
Good question. Best way to know if the 14mm measurement is correct is - 2 1/2 teeth on the outside of the starter ring

every paramotor pilot is an individual. and have different skill levels. think as if you're buying a car. and if...if? you can manage to get a demo ... more the better take the wing out test it... and see what a pilot is looking for " LIVE AND LEARN OR LEARN AND LIVE".
@therealeugenecussons8 ай бұрын
Tony that isn’t true and some celebrity pilots have portrayed this idea that some guys are better than others and therefore they can skip the development process. The truth is, if you skip any progression process in aviation, whether it be fixed wing or paramotors, you roll the dice. The comment is on the Nucleon video and I would say that the Nucleon isn’t that serious of a step up in progression but if someone was to try learn on it then the instructor would need to keep a very close eye on the student and ensure a safe experience. The recommendations made by the factory is law in some countries and for good reason. We are seeing celebrity pilot idiots promote the disregard of manufacturing recommendations because they believe themselves to be something above the rest of humanity. I think we are all subject to training and progression and I have seen enough accidents to convince me of this conviction

Ignition timing and 2 stroke engines is so important. The other motor manufacturers are stuck in the 1980's using the same ignition system as a gas lawnmower. Nirvana is doing the right thing taking the risk to pave the cow path since we're stuck with 2 strokes as it stands.

Tx. On the eshop of nirvana.cz or nirvananorthamerica.com website it will have a parts list. Just go on the propeller subdivision under Rodeo and it will list all the options. The 3 blade 125 is the best option for the Rodeo MK1. The Greyline 125 is still best option for Rodeo MK2

I think any wing would work on the Atom unless you try to 1. Take off at higher altitude or 2. Activate Trim Speed to a setting faster than the motor can sustain. The Solo and Speedster are actually comparable in Speed in my opinion.

Great comparison and info. For a new pilot like me, a Roadster 3 or Solo and why? Thank you.
@therealeugenecussons Жыл бұрын
Tx. The Roadster 3 is a bigger older design. So to match the weight range of the Solo you need a size 28 compared to the Solo size 24 (160kg max weight). The Roadster is a 5.1 aspect ratio so its more nippy, more roll, more prone to requiring oscillation correction. The Solo is a 5.4 which is the limit I would suggest for an all rounder. So in summary. Solo is less drag to give beter fuel efficiency but a longer glider for more stability (5.4 vs 5.1).

@therealeugenecussons Жыл бұрын
Hey. Mixed Gas typically lasts about 3 weeks. The oils these days are really good so even lingering but my advice would never to store gas in your machine over months. Drain, use primer pump to clean out lines, and membranes and fuel lines will survive much longer

Great series, thank you for doing it. Im curious what nav / app systems you use? Everyone in our group is using the XCnav app to keep track of each other when we fly, we also use it for comms with the built in messaging system. For the phone storage we all have a different methon of attachment, most use a lanyard but then some stick it in a pocket and stow their brakes to pull it out to check while others velcro it onto a front box. I was able to attach some tough velcro pads directly to my synthetic motorbike pants and it holds the phone on front of me on my leg quite well. I tried every other system with arm holders, bicycle phone mounts etc but nothing else really worked.
@therealeugenecussons Жыл бұрын
Great feedback. There is a episode on Nav planned and that will include using apps as well as building a cockpit. I use Air Nav Pro as primary but its expensive. Gaggle is a must have because you can see other aircraft, paramotors and wind direction. Very good app
