Is a tachymeter supposed to rotate seperatly? Are there some that don't? How do you use them?

That was a compelling restoration job to watch. I've had some experience polishing stainless and perspex, so that part of things is really interesting to me. What a superb result, It looks new.

This's the first time, for me, I watch a...watch restoration, plaiyng with words. Sometime happened I saw an opened watch and I always asked to myself how it could be possible to work, disassemble and re-assemble a such mechanism built with so small components. Now I know! Thanks a lot!!😊😊

How are parts organized when you disassemble the watch? So many look the same.

As new. BUT if I had survived that accident I would have done 2 things: 1) change the glass on the original watch and just have the internal service as usual. Kept all the dings and scratches......all the same. And then just buy a new one pristine..... Life until the accident and 2nd chance.... wear one every week.

I have a citizen challenger that belonged to my grandfather, any chance of you restoring it for me. I'm from Brazil. He was a bus driver and the watch is in need.

Despite the fact that the video is made qualitatively, not quite neat painting of the dial catches the eye. It is especially noticeable on the 5,7,8,9 indices. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoWvYYh5nrOArs0 A little spoils the overall impression of the restoration.

You wreaked that beautiful watch by getting rid of the amazing brass/gold?? Hands & that old crown "is worn " it's called patina, 80yr old watch, yes lovely worn patina on a brass crown that still worked perfectly fine.and you could hear the 80yr old glass crack as you were pushing HARD onto it to stick it to the table to polish. HAM FISTED. And a vinyl nato strap. Ugghhh. dont " restore watch's, just lightly service them. You got no class.
