Yoo, what is it that you bolted down in the block across from the oil squirters?
@kriswyche3 күн бұрын
sup dude, it is some sort of baffle or plate. that corner is where the crankcase ventilation tube is, I assume that plate stops excessive oil from coming up. that specific vent tube is located under/beside the last runner of the exhaust manifold

Hi! I’m s14 owner! Sorry for the question I would like to keep the original handbrake, have you done anything to make it lock a little more? extenders? new cables? z32 brakes? thank you! Cheers from spain
@kriswyche2 ай бұрын
Spain !!! My handbrake is fully stock with upgraded pads, you are going to want Project Mu D1 Spec rear pads. That is the key to a solid stock handbrake. Keep in mind that if you have a welded diff it requires a bit more force since you need to stop both wheels instead of just one, so don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t fully lock on the very first pull. These are what me and the black S13 use: www.enjukuracing.com/products/project-mu-d1-spec-rear-brake-pads-for-s13-s14-s15-silvia.html?afmc=5lp

Im so happy to see somebody else actually pays attention to detail on sound and the quality of it. Theres too many people out there that just slap random manifold/catback combos and it sounds like poop lol. And also taking off the burnt tip to showoff the stainless is definitely the move, plus its a crime to cover up the hks stamped signature on the tip. Now the car just needs more boost/timing to help with the sound pitch youre looking for and maybe go with a hks gtiii-rs as well for perfection.
