I remember when my ex-wife and I had our first baby and a lady from our church told her about babywise. I used to be up almost every 30 minutes soothing my babygirl in the middle of the night. One day I came home from work and my wife was like she is on baby wise and all of a sudden she was sleeping through the whole night. The shift was like magic. And now both our children goes to sleep with no problem, even now, and they are 5 and 6. I recommend baby wise to everyone with babies.

I can’t believe that anyone would recommend this. Look this up in medical journals and get the experts opinions first! No good doctors recommend this. There are plenty of warnings against doing this, for good reason. You are you stunting your baby’s natural rhythms , you’re also going against their innate instincts and causing all kinds of potential future problems. Not all babies are the same, and there are plenty of babies that would not respond well to this. If you refrain from this unnatural behavior you’re going to have happier, better adjusted kids. In fact, you would be hurting your child to do this, and it’s just a light form of abuse! You might want to tell yourself that’s not true, but you’re only lying to yourself. This is not a way to nurture healthy, creative, engaged, psychologically sound children. Please don’t do this to your babies, please, please, plesse! Anybody who lets their kid cry all day is Cray Cray! If you do this, you are a bad mom. You really are. You’re also starting off on the wrong foot! You should never, never “try to keep your baby awake” so that you can get your feeding in, and if that’s what you believe is okay? Then you’re whole mindset about motherhood is extremely messed up. Your babies have their own rhythm and way of responding to their surroundings and you!Bond with them, keep them with you, and they will be more psychologically sound and have less attachment issues . Self Soothing is okay sometimes , but that’s what you’re there for most of the time mom!!! Your baby should not be required to soothe themselves for your convenience. This is an innately selfish system too. Feed your babies when they’re hungry and let them sleep when they want to sleep! Don’t ever keep your babies up, or force them to sleep and definitely don’t let them cry all day! That’s bad, and harmful!

We should not have pride tho. We are told we’re all sinners and not one is pure. Meaning we all broke the law of Moses. I believe anyone can be saved; we have a free will and free choice. What I mean by we shouldn’t have pride is; we’re all guilty and we’re all sinners. Why be proud of that. “To him that worketh not but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly his faith is counted for righteousness” To be saved all you have to do is believe in Jesus: death burial and resurrection. Most churches say you can’t do this or you can’t do that. That you have to follow the law, Well you can’t go to heaven without Jesus. Who completed the law so we don’t have to. Gays can be saved: like I’m straight and that’s nothing to take pride in. Take pride in a small accomplishment; or even a big one. Don’t take pride in being a sinner. But give glory to God for saving the sinner.

lesbian christian here, thank you <3 I don't know how I am going to heal the church hurt but after becoming so filled with anger, hurt, and rejection, I am really trying to heal my relationship with God. I have been abu sed so much from so many sides that it really was impossible by myself. I always knew that but I always felt such a strong love and kinship with Jesus and God. I am also self-identified autistic and so that too made me feel like maybe it was the only way I could really bond with my friends which I am starting to realize is sad. But Jesus sent me a dream and kept sending me dreams as I begged, cried, yelled, was angry at feeling abandoned when all I have ever tried to do in life is love, have friends, have a best friend, find a boyfriend, try to have a life that looked like atypical people so that I could find a sense of community. I got so heavily masked that I lost myself and no matter how hard I tried I just couldnt hear and feel the voice of God anymore. But I am going into intensive therapy, determined to find the right one who will show compassion, respect my beliefs in Jesus while also helping me heal and learn better boundaries with myself. I tried to kill myself to many times to stop the suffering that I lost count. The world gave up on me too and labeled me as crazy or evil but I am starting to heal and thats what I want for all of my people. I want God to free my people and I really believe that God will. I don't have proof, I don't even have a whole lot of evidence of it besides my own inner world experiences, the dreams that Jesus sends to me, and the constant call to repentence in my heart to find my light in the dark. Lets do this together, without hurting eachother, without trying to instil hate or anger towards eachother, without force, with learning how to love each other in the ways that help us feel heard, seen, understood, but also in a way that helps us bring about the change that Gods sense of right and wrong provides in our hearts. I want to be bold in love, because as Martin Luther King said, hate it too great of a burden to bear. It doesn't really even matter to me anymore who is right and who is wrong, I just want to see the world heal from our hate and division towards each other.

Today my sister wanted to go to a pride festival and i felt pressured in going but as a christian I knew that I shouldn't go because if I go it will end up being me supporting them. I love them with all my heart but i didn't want to go today so I spoke my beliefs and poured my heart out to my sister and she completely went ballistic and shut the door in my face.
