I made it myself and no longer make it to sell. You can get it from blood Knot. If you search blood not cords I guess you’ll find it. It’s in Australia. otherwise Mikko Snellman also sells cord.

Thankyou for this video. I have been trying this grommet from Nikko's video as well, but couldn't get it right. The change to putting the constrictor knot only on the 2 strands helped a lot. Today I finally got it right. You'll understand the satisfaction from this. I used your Bloodknot cord which I can highly recommend 👍

It's just a pleasure to come back to your channel every once in a while and watch a few of your videos. Btw, the cord I bought from you a few years ago is a dream to work with and I'm really happy to still have a bunch of hanks for rainy days. All the best to you and yours from Germany. 🤝🏻👍🏻

I really appreciate your teaching style! Clearly explained and described - your dialog matches your video! and no frivolous chat. " That's all a Matthew Walker knot is - a series of over hand knots..." Brilliant.

Okay I had a familiar feeling with this knot but couldn’t place it. Then I realised it’s identical in structure to a headhunter knot ( as on p. 410 of Bruce Grant’s encyclopaedia). Well not his O2U2O2 but you can ad lib with it and do for instance O1 U8 O1. It’s obviously single strand. And you use the build the pattern method. Hope this encourages people to explore more what is a very versatile family of knots - I do them all on the hand so it’s simple if you take care. The headhunter has been called a series of Matthew Walkers’

Everytime I think I have tied this knot right, it's not right. I feel like it is the real-life manifestation the Turing test, which would seem to suggest that I am actually a robot. I feel like this realization should frighten me more, bet the only thing I seem to feel is a little voice inside of my head saying "emotional processing not supported on this version of iOS, please update to version 10.7". Honestly, the fact that I apparently run on an Apple operating system is significantly more g to me then the realization that I am not technically even alive

Phil: Not sure why I haven’t seen this previously, however it has helped me immensely in better understanding globe knots. I’ve now watched it multiple times and I’ve gleaned something new each time, especially following the lead under vs over. I’ve also gone back to Mikko’s globe knot video and now have a better feel for his tutorial. Your tutorial also helped me solve a problem for a handle covering on a 4 sided strop I made for a friend; knowing the cord size, length and bead size is helpful for planning purposes. One question: what is the knotting you used below the first MW knot, I can’t seem to find anything similar (although I might have done something similar in years past but can’t remember, it sucks to get old)? Thanks for sharing and I hope you continue to post videos even though you’ve passed the torch on to Mark. I’m talking with him about an order of cordage, hope it measures up to what I purchased from you. Best of luck to you and yours in the new year. Donald.

Hi Donald. Thanks for your kind reply. I have no plans to make any more videos. At this stage I have moved my priority to my photography. Regarding that sennit I think I describe it in my cat key fob tutorial. Also I’m pretty sure Des Pawson describes it in his book. Hope the new year is good to you.

the last warp is pulled through and the final tube is removed leaving the end of the rope imbedded in the last edge of loops. The end remains where it is as it cannot move any further forward nor can it reverse. Simply tuck the tail neatly in the loops and for extra measure you can add a wire C clip and crimp the tail to the last loop, this way its set for life!
