I’ve been thinking about getting an iron for curls. Seeing that steam/smoke coming off your hair scares me. I don’t think my hair would withstand an iron.

@@27kjh that’s produced from my heat protectant. It smokes as it creates a seal around the strands to protect it :) but either way if you have fine hair, I don’t recommend these unless your temp is super low

@ okay thanks you. Believe it or not I am 69 and have really never used heat on my hair…so I don’t know much about these things. I got a new haircut that has face framing and when I tried my friends iron it looks so much better when I gave it a bit of wave to the front. So I’m on the search for an iron and yes I would use low heat. I’m also on the search for a heat protectant. I’m finding with the ones I tried so far, they leave my hair looking dull and dry or they smell too way too strong…like a cheap perfume or even worse.

im about to buy the new nano titanium right now. ive been doing research for a few days now. I've decided i dont love the dyson blow dryer for my hair anymore. while it does dry quickly, i need something that will aid in smoothing my hair more. I can totally see the difference in the smoothness of the cuticle with the nano titanium. Wondering if you had the ions turned on or not?

Does your Prima make a sound? I bought a new Prima3000 and got it today when pluggged in the iron make a very quiet buzzing sound like a tiny fan inside. I called BaByliss and the rep said its the ionic technology and the sound is normal, but some people say theirs does not make a sound and some say it make a sound. I'm considering returning but i realy like the iron.

Dang, I can’t see the results because you put them all the way at the end and for some reason, the next video pops up as an option on the left corner and the right corner blocking both sides of your hair. I didn’t notice that you have a bit of oil near the scalp. That always stops the hair from having its full body my hair touches my butt, I take a lot of vitamins, but I’m also half native American and half black. I get a really oily scout too, so I massage my shampoo in my scalp for about 2 to 3 minutes and then I work my way to the end in Ritz I usually do this two times. Conditioner. I then put my product/heat protectant on, blow dry, and straighten the top/edges/ends for a fuller look. If I want it super straight, I will do my whole head as you have done here. I’m gonna try to find a picture and post it. I really really appreciate you doing this comparison. You are absolutely beautiful. 1

You should maybe try the 5 with golden undertone. This 6 looks olive and somewhat ashy.

5 is way too light. I actually mix 6 and a tiny bit of 9 now and it’s perfect.
