I live in the states and I have BPD. I get visual and auditory hallucinations but mostly visual. I literally see them like they are real. The other day I saw a man with no face walking and then he disappeared. I also agree regress and struggle with splitting. My fp is my husband.

I also appreciate that you mentioned friendship breakup. That's often not talked about. It can be very devastating. Like you said, like someone has died. You definitely go through this period of grief.

Thank you for sharing this! I feel so validated with my experience. I also experience some hallucinations and I rarely hear it talked about in conjunction with BPD.

Wow judging by why the psychologist thought my mum might have this, watching this video it does sound like she might. Also as someone with cptsd & alot of traits of bpd, I cant imagine how hard it must be living with bipolar on top of that 💜🖤💜🖤💜

@@jadeantoinetter bless you 🥺💜💜 I think shes kind of oblivious tbh! But having said that shes also been alot more stable these past 10 years, without really any intervention or meds other than a brief bit of counselling so I dont know! We dont talk much about these things so I've no clue! Hopefully she genuinely feels better though xx

I love your openness and honesty. I think many people will find your videos really helpful and will encourage people to accept that they may have a problem and reach out for help which is amazing. I know that I have a pronlem with food and my weight but I don't think I fall into the bulimia or anorexia categories. Some of my weight, if not a lot of it, is possibly due to side effects from my medication (I hate that many medications for mental health issues have weight gain as a side effect). On the other side of that is the problem I have with sensory issues that restrict what I'm able or willing to eat quite badly, which leaves me either eating the same stuff over and over until I'm fed up of it or not eating much at all. All I've had today is 2 bowls of cereal, 2 biscuits, a cheese and onion pasty, and a bit of malt loaf. To mind as I type that it sounds like a lot, but I know it's not and nowhere in there is a proper meal and it does distress me that I can't eat like a 'normal' person. I'm not even sure how to approach the subject with my doctor, though, because I have so many other issues I'm trying to deal with. Thanks again for being prepared to talk about such difficult subjects.

Very education. I didn't realize I have some of the symptoms. That one about longing for a person or place, missing something is tough. And with self harm and feeling like I need to let out the pressure. Speaking and discussing issues is one of the best ways of working with them. Let's you know and your viewers that your not alone.

What an amazing first video, Jade, thank you so much for posting it. BPD has been raised as a possibility for me, and after watching this video I definitely think they might be right since I have all of the symptons you mentioned to a greater or lesser degree. I know the people I've been referred to want to focus on the assessment for autism that I'm waiting for, but I'm hoping that once that's out of the way I can try to get assessed for BPD. It would be good to know exactly what I have so I can start to figure out what direction to take when looking for help.
