Going to fish there this winter. Fish there many years back off a boat not sure if I'm going to take my boat or bank fish like you did. Good video I've got a fishing video on my photography website. "Mo Ozarks Photos"

@@camdenengland05 if you are fly fishing being 5x leaders. If you are using spinning rods 4 pound line should work. They prefer you use smaller hooks but the only real requirement is the hooks must be barbless (of the barb must be pinched closed). For that time of year I would use foam grasshoppers in green and brown. Also take several colors of mop flies and bead head zebra midges. The big one I caught took a brown grasshopper. Hope that helps! Good luck! If you have any other questions just let me know.

Looks like a beautiful place to fish. Did you stay in one of the cabins or was this just a day trip? Did you try any other spots than where you caught fish at? Are the trout stocked from somewhere in the area?

It was only a day trip but we hope to stay on site next time we visit! We tried several other spots but didnt have much luck. They have their own hatchery on the property! It was a cool set up

Good choice to fish with what is natural in the area, I am surprised that with as much food that is in the area with the cicadas hatching that you were able to get anything to hit.

Thanks bro! We have been catching a lot on cicadas. Some actually have swollen bellies from so many!

Where do you get the peach color mop material? Thanks for the video and it was great to see you helping out the kids at the end. I still remember 50 years ago being helped by an older gentleman when I first started. Good luck with the channel!

Thank you for your kind comments! We feel it’s important to help young anglers. We are preparing to sell the iconium peach mop fly bodies in 100 packs for $15.00. Let me know if you would like a bag. Right now we can accept Venmo payments. Thanks again!
