Real nice. Only gripes is the cigarette smoke. I love camping but the smell of cigarette smoke lurking in the air spoils my supper and drinks. Having said that, though, this is one fine video of friends enjoying the night outdoors!

Thank you for your comment, Sir. I know what you mean. Sometimes, I get a headache from the smell of exhaust fumes from motorcycles running in front of my car, so I understand you don't like the smell of smoke. But please don't worry. We won't have any chance to get together. Even if I find you somewhere, I will change my camping site and stay away from you.
Harry-san my friend, good to see you braving the cold snowy weather for a last camp in 2024. We're on the opposite side of the world from each other but experiencing the same cold air. Ah! Takimi and friends once again learning a thing or two from the master, education never stops. I bet those warm campfires sure felt good and you had to process a lot of wood to keep them burning. Looked like a great camp, maybe some hot sake enjoyed around the campfire to welcome in the new year. Have a happy and healthy 2025 Harry-san, I will see you in the next one.

Thank you, Terry-san. The first day was slightly snowy, but the rest of the days were quite fine. The temperature was low, and I wanted to know if I could manage this cold air because it was my first camp for almost two months. This spot has a lot of hardwoods instead of conifers, so we could get good firewood, and the fire kept us warm. Unfortunately, nobody brought Sake this time. I wished I could have some, but the way it is. I hope the year 2025 will be another great year for you.
So, you could get back out and enjoy another camp before 2024 finished. That's great! I envy this camp in the snow so much. If everything works out as planned, I will see you in the woods before the year is over. Have a AMAZING 2025, Harry-san.

Happy New Year 2025, Rockie! Thanks, and I'm so glad you enjoyed this video. Yeah! I can't wait to go out to the woods with you again. Let me know when you are ready.
Hello, nice to meet you, I'm from Indonesia. I'm proud that at your age you can still do activities in the wild... and share knowledge about bushcraft...

I appreciate it. I'm wounded all over but as long as my body moves I will keep bushcrafting.

Tom Cat

One of the few videos where we get to hear Harry-san speak English and he does so very well. I wish I could speak Japanese as good as he speaks English, I wouldn't embarrass myself so much. The camp commander and chief chef at it again, man that meal looked delicious. It may have been tough camping but it was definitely worth it I bet. Rockie seems a nice guy and y'all had fun, that's what counts 👍👍 Thanks Harry-san.

Thank you, Terry-san. Naaa, I'm embarrassed by my broken English. Yeah, Rockie is a nice guy because he considers and tries to understand what I want to say. That was tough camping but we could enjoy every work.

Thanks, Buddy! As long as I live we will get together. Forest never runs away. haha.

Harry-san👍👍 Good to see you camping again and with friends this time. Summer is slowly giving up to fall, the leaves are starting to fall here, I will welcome the fall but also miss the summer. Takimi seems much more comfortable at camping now, had a good teacher eh... Forest, friends, fire, food, some hard work, relaxing is a great thing. Seems the weather was just about right and this camp was a success. Thanks for the video, well done as always. See you next time.

Thanks, Terry-san! The weather had changed drastically and much humid but I could smell the Fall note in the air. That was the first try of the groundbreaking ceremony for Takimi this time and she said with tears that it was so impressive and feel God. As you said she feels no fears or stresses during this camping.
