Hi, I was wondering what puncture repair kit is supposed to come with a mercedes . I've just purchased a 2023 cla and it looks extremely sparse under the floor in the boot, the only kit being a pump, tyrefix and towing eye. There's no locking wheel nut key, no jack and no wheel brace.

do you give it any winter protection? I have a few in containers here in Northern Ireland which are doing great.
@petedavies16458 жыл бұрын
hi yes I usually cover the base with bubble wrap and put a cover over the top in winter, might not bother this year though as I've heard they are very Hardy I'm going to do a new video soon as it's grown really well since I last took this video in just a few months.

+PETE DAVIES that's great. I look forward to it.

Fortunei doesn't need any winter protection unless the temperature is going to drop below -10C which it almost never does in the UK. Or if there is snow cover for more than 48 hours, which again, there never usually is. I have never protected any of mine in the past 3 years, even ones in pots that have roots exposed. They sail through winter.

I just planted one of these in 4ft tall.How long will it take to settle in.It has started to wilt a bit.It was well watered with manure etc
@petedavies16459 жыл бұрын
Eric Gruntfuttock I planted mine with a bit of grit and sand with the soil a year ago it did not wilt at all and settled in straight away, I would feed it with some palm food that you water in to try and help it on. i will post a new video of mine in the next week or so
@tacheman3935 жыл бұрын
Eric Gruntfuttock palms need certain ph levels to grow well. Also most need sandy gritty soil. Maybe the manure it too acidic?

Thanks for replying. I think I've seen a decent sized one a little cheaper at around £120. Think I'll get it end of July. An update would be great!
@TheFever7710 жыл бұрын
very nice, you mind me asking how much you paid? I'm further south just outside London in hertfordshire.
@petedavies164510 жыл бұрын
£160 from a local garden centre, i looked at cheaper ones but they was to small and shabby, i will video it again at the end of the year, it has took well and is looking healthy. i went for this type as its meant to be hardy in the winter. they seem to do better the more south you are
