I think these are my very favorite of all the ones you've done! (And I've seen a lot of yours...I've been binging your videos for weeks!). They are so simple but elegant and I love the simple Christian message!

I love how you seem to put these cards together so easily! I have a boatload of cards to donate, but none of my local facilities seem to want them. I've tried contacting Life Enhancement specialists, but they don't respond. I end up having to send them to Cards for Kindness or other organizations.

I’m having a difficult time finding places to donate cards. Mailing to cards for kindness is too expensive. I have tried asking on my fb page for local suggestions and didn’t receive any.

Great video; I really appreciate you showing how you can mass produce cards by using one sketch with similar papers and ephemera. That fox is so adorable. I’m really looking forward to the video about donating cards. I guess one concern would be if you ever feel pressure to get cards done, as you mentioned that last year you fell behind a bit. I think I would have a hard time keeping up.

My question is about what you write inside a card for someone you don’t know? Also how to contact a nursing home about cards. Ii ask on my socials I’d anyone works at a nursing home and would like to give cards to the residents and I get no responses. I even say they can sign them from the home if they want. I don’t have to sign. Still nothing. My church is very small and we rarely have shut ins. I donate to cards for kindness but it’s getting too expensive for me to ship boxes. Last time it was almost $30. I’d rather give them out locally. Any ideas you offer would be appreciated.

Your videos inspire me and give me the joy to make cards. I struggle to find the perfect colour combination for the background colour sheets to use. Can you make a video on how to choose the "mainstream" colour for backgrounds ? (the sheets you use to put the put the patterned papers on) Thank you 🍀

I have asked this several times in other videos and have not gotten an answer. When you cut out one of the paper pieces that goes on the card and you match that piece, are you cutting the mat out in the size on the sketch and then cutting the design a little smaller? Or are you cutting the design paper to the specs on the sketch and making the mat a little bigger?
@KristieMarcotte3 күн бұрын
Hello! I generally cut the patterned paper at the measurements listed on the sketch. Then I add 1/8" for the cardstock layer. If I want a wider layer, I'll add 1/4". Sometimes, I will modify the paper pieces and don't follow the sketch measurements exactly.
@monicab283 күн бұрын
@@KristieMarcotte thank you for taking time to answer this. I have downloaded some of the sketches you mention and for some reason, the measurements are not correct. I even double check my measuring. It seems like on some of them there isn't space for even a 1/8th" extra.
