The main reason is mn has solid power transfer which means the normally operating in diff lock state even with just single 390 motor. And the wltoys even is heavier and has 2 motors but it's is not in "diff lock" state. Front and rear motor some times will turn saperately depends on the surface so the traction is lost there.

I'm jealous of your upgrade. Very nice!! I am trying to change to a 2 speed gearbox on my C24. I purchased a 30A ESC, lighting kit and 6ch remote control to convert to a 2 speed gearbox. A problem occurred. The wires from the ESC to the motor and the motor and ESC overheat within 20 seconds. I looked for several videos on 2-speed gearbox upgrades. But I didn't get a solution so I reverted to the stock motor and gearbox. Is there a solution for overheating?
