And if that basket unexpectedly goes sideways, youve now lost everything. You spread investments over different industries so you are better protected when something inevitably goes wrong, and you dont lose everything with just one industry going bad.

That will happen at some point for sure. what I think matters most is to be prepared for this kind of trouble individually, each person must be protective for their own family.

rich dad book helped a lot of people gain knowledge on money mindset, it is not overrated. lets be honest about it. i mean for sure the other book is better than that one but overrated ? i dont think so .
