i facedthe same issue in pixel 6a ..battery swollen issue.. Luckily I am staying in bengaluru so I visted official service center and they replaced my battery within 2 hr and it is free of cost and My phone is 2 year old and out warranty still I got free of cost replacement..✌✌

The charges are called as labour fees. Usually it is not charged by the repair center, it is charged by the service center where you initially submitted the device. The service centers will send in the devices as you told to repair centers. Unfortunately repair centers are not open for customers, as it is a B2B only.

I have had same problem with pixel 7 pro. After sending it to service centre they are display will me replaced as well. Estimated the cost nearly 18k. Jabki maine jab phone bheja tha display was working without any problem

battery swollen is because running phone while charging like shooting videos continously with power bank connected, running too much app together and using improper charger. i am using 4a from 2020 and 7a from 2023, both phone i have, never faced any issue. and always buy phone according to own preferences
