I know this video is old as hell, and the channel likely isnt active anymore, but I had to comment anyways Ive never heard of the series thos character is from (Pandora Hearts, I think? That's what other comments are mentioning), and thus have 0 connection to the story or its characters But god DAMN does this make me want to read it! This is phenomenal, and now I need to know more!

I come back to this AMV. I dont remember when i read pandoras heart but it found this around the same time and it intoduced me to the song. Both the video and the song is amazing. I wanted you th know you have changes a small part of my life for the better :)

Look, Elliot's far from my favourite character. The reasons I don't just forget his existence is because of his impact on my two favs, being Oz and Leo. However. His death was a masterpiece of a sad scene and I still cry my eyes out when I go back reading it. Because holy shit, it was something alright.

10 years later, I'm back to watch this video again. And I have to say... 10 years later, I'm still crying! Elliot Nightray is still one of my favorite characters of all time, all media included. He was so well builded, his growth was on point, his story was so well written, his development was perfectly done, and his death was heroic (and his death was not the end of his character, because he had so much of an impact on the events of the manga that people kept talking about him, thinking about him, acting for him...). Elliot gave me so much and saved me at my worst with his words and actions, and I'm still thankful (MochiJun really has my gratitude for this character). I think no character will ever be able to take Elliot's place in my heart, no matter how many years pass, and the fact I'm still affected and moved by him after one whole decade is the proof of it.
