1H should absolutely be connected - NC does not have a power antenna, but it does have an amplified antenna. You'll have crappy reception if you don't connect 1H.

Yeah, it's illegal to deface an American plate to mount it. You can get stopped for that.

So, does it flash when you use the hazards? The high mount is supposed to be an independent circuit. so when the indicators or hazards are used, drivers behind you can still see clearly that you are braking by light of the CHMSL. But tapping the Stop signal from one side of the tailgate is gonna cause issues. Wiring this way will cause the CHMSL to 'flash' while the Left-hand Indicator is in use; and in turn, causing the CHMSL to flash while using hazard indicators. The bid problem with that last one is, If you're driving the heavy rain and decide to use the hazards and slow down, the drivers behind you will never know if you're using your brakes. if you're CHMSL is wired to to flash like a taillight, it will never go solid to alert drivers of your slowing down. I'd recommend picking up the signal straight from the brake pedal switch if it's a last resort kinda thing. there's gotta be a better way that this.

I followed this and also used my common sense. I now have a fully working ATOTO F7 WE 9inch setup working with SWC too 😍 thanks so much dude. Most annoying thing was actually the very last part aka the swc programming on the os itself because it's not the clearest but it does work.

This video says the airflow arrows should be pointing up! I started the truck and turned on the fan. It most definitely PULLS air in the downward direction so your video would appear to be incorrect - Airflow arrows should be pointed DOWN.

I absolutely disagree. I think the case/folio is perfect like it is. I don't buy such an expensive device, where I pay a big premium for it being so light, thin and aesthetically pleasing, and then put it permanently in a (bulky) plastic/silicone wrap. Same goes for my phone (iPhone 15 Pro) - on a daily basis I don't have a cover on it. I have an Otterbox case that I put on for sports (cycling, running) etc. where there's a bigger chance I might scratch/drop it.
