1972 seems like yesterday, and also so very long ago. A superb Medical School and even in my day the old Dental School (graduated there 1977 B.D.S.) with Dean Roy Storer also set very high standards. I am 82 now and remain proud that I made the decision to go to Newcastle-upon-Tyne Medical and Dental Schools. They were separate then. Good luck and good fortune to all staff, students and supporting brave and trusting patients from the past, present and future. God bless whichever god you may worship. Atheists and agnostics equally loved and included.

I hate the sound of flowing liquids (think pouring water or soda commercials) and I've really grown to hate KZbins obsession with ASMR, it's really aggravating. Used to love watching japanese/asian cooking videos but this obsession with ASMR really turned me off to watching those videos now

my misophonia is so bad that I can hear one eating sound and I will run, skap my head and try to blare music in my head while crying and sometimes sobbing. I also have autism so maybe that makes it worse. but if I was those people in the test hearing those sounds I'd be so very upset and trying everything to stop it (including my brain forcing me to rehear it as it repeats over and over, hence the hitting if my head to try to stop it). it is one of my most difficult to deal with things. not only the sound itself, but also how I affects my life. being set off during a movie with an eating scene, people getting mad at me for my reactions, never being able to join my family for dinner, constantly being shamed of it and creating a lot of fear around me accommodating myself, and just. I so badly wish people could understand this is agonizing for me, I'm not doing it on purpose, please stop getting angry at me it's so easy to just stop eating for a second every time I'm near I promise I will quickly be out of your way
