Ive been debating on using the stainless steel carriage bolts on mine compared to the much more expensive FRP White Encapsulated bolts at $3.82 per bolt that would match the rivets on the rest of the Vehicle. Dont for the life of me know why the FRP bolts are so expense

Hi. Nice rig. Good job. I just bought a 2020 12' Penski box truck. I plan to turn it into a RV for myself, and my German Shepherd military service Dog named Archer. I am a retired building contractor. I have the translucent ceiling also. My ceiling height is only 6' 1" tall. How hard will it be To add a wood ceiling without taking much space? I am taking a Amtrak train ride hopefully this week from Lake City Florida to N.Y.C to pick up the truck. I spent 7 months building a 2016 Ford Transit connect cargo van that was too small for me and my German Shepherd. He couldn't lay down comfortably when I pulled the bed out. Perfect for one person traveling, and great gas mileage. My truck is a V6. I'm hoping to get decent mileage. What is your mileage? Is the roof strong enough for solar panels? I liked, subscribed, and saved this episode. I like a lot of your ideas. I have 4' less to work with, because I wanted the V6, and single tires in the rear. I will have to cut a door in the cab. I would also like to keep the lift door on it with the tracks. I don't know how hard it will be designing a ceiling around the tracks. I am 66, and Archer turns 8 next month. I will be building this on the road, camping in Lowes, and Home Depot. I just have to get out of here. Too humid for my boy. Heading west. Thank you for your video. David and Archer

Don't know if you ever go to addressing this, but a DC fan can made to reverse by adding a DPDT switch (the same as reversing the wires). I'm looking for info (hopefully a video) on how you secured your joists to the existing roof bows. Did it cut down noise from the roof even before the insulation, ply and ash?

Its not too hard to find a Uhaul with a decent boxy grandma's attic but they all have the roll up doors. What terms exactly should I use to search with?
